Is the extra disc worth it?

I picked up a 1-disc version at Shepherd's bush's CEX store today. It's better to actually view the disc and make sure it's not marked or scratched. For information the single disc version's only special feature being Deleted scenes in HD which is sufficient for me not being a fan but just want the HD experience everyone's on about. 2-disc version has all sort of behind the scenes and making of featurettes.

I use them all the time and never had a problem. They do check items before they buy them. Most of the blu rays are when people have only watched once OR brand new when people sell them to make some money.

Blu-Ray discs are much harder to scratch than DVDs. Never had a scratched Blu-Ray or PS3 game.

Pre-owned? This should be cold!

why? Sells for atleast £10 new

Not a great price for a 2 year old film and pre-owned too. Probably won't be scratched from cex but has most probably been nicked at some point lol. Cex = Blaggers paradise

Lol I noticed a lot of shifty looking people are in there trying to sell ten phones at a time. However, I doubt many Blu Rays will be stolen.

Also, this is a hot deal. £6 is the cheapest Iron Man on Blu Ray has ever been regardless of it being pre owned, so you should be voting hot on this basis alone.

Instore they are great but dont think i would risk them online although
24 season 7 for £18 is tempting if I did not allready have it :)

Yeah, I've had mixed experiences. From my experience, they're worth selling to but not buying from because their prices are so high. On the occasions I have ordered from them it's been a game that's hard to get hold of elsewhere. In terms of online ordering, I just ordered Fallout New Vegas Collector's Edition on the 360, and it came with all the bits and the disc was in good nick. Not bad for £48. On the other hand, I've had discs that have been quite badly scratched, and quite frequently items they say are in stock aren't. Granted, they've never charged me for an item they haven't shipped, but typically they've not even bothered tell me it wasn't in, just let my order sit incomplete.

to me they are better to buy from especially because the blurays are so cheap.
the film might be 2 years old, but the bluray didnt drop from £15 for a whole year after release. also its much better than the sequel.
i would go with the 2 disc edition, i am thinking the single disc one is rental copy.

they are good for getting hard to find items, deleted and oop dvds, like ali g dvds from 2001 and wwf dvds that have been oop since 2002.

i did get the back to the future trilogy bluray tin which is very hard to find on ebay under £60 - the had one in stock for £38 and it had everything with it. one scratch on the tin but im much happier having the set than not at all.

its far easier online. you have access to all stores stock rather than one. no loud music or uninterested staff. also you save on petrol or bus fares for me i live so far away its never going to be a store visit unless i got a lift.

and aside from a dodgy patch last year when it seemed some arseburger from leeds was selling the leeds branch a load of blurays with copied sleeves i havent had much problems with them. the odd damaged case, but the discs have always been perfect.

isn't the transfer meant to be pretty bad on this?

heres a review -->>>review here "'Iron Man' doesn't quite earn a five-star rating from me, but this is still a generally excellent presentation that shouldn't disappoint"
