It does seem expensive for a dvd but maybe they are hoping that no one will notice as it still seems cheap compared to the stupidly high priced Blu Ray discs..

Talk about expensive for a dvd!!! I suppose it is 2 discs and new release, but i bought the blu ray version last night from LOVEFILM and that was £15.18 after the 10 % discount on their website plus 8% Quidco , so altogether about £14.

Got my copy in Blu Ray from the good old US of A. 1080 quality on something like this is outstanding.

Granted not sure it's worth the £20 they charge here mind

To the person who said this was a poor movie- you are in a massive minority. The movie was great. I don't think you can judge any flick when watched first time on a plane.

Also £9.99 is a rip - had this over 2 months ago for free. Perfect full release.

I thought this was a great movie.........to be honest I don't think you can really appreciate a film like this at 30,000 ft, on a 7" screen, with some tatty headphones!:whistling:

There are SOOOOO many versions of this DVD. In america there were a few more - but here you can get:

One with a free comic (Amazon)
Exclusive "head shaped" DVD case (HMV - £15)
Single Disc edition (this one)
Ultimate edition (2-discs - arounf £15)
Steelbook edition (play.com exclusive - £14.99).

lol.

Im probably going for the steelbook - though the head shape more collectable imho.

EXCELLENT FILM!!!

imo this is probably the best Marvel movie so far...Great stuff.

If I were editting it, I don't think there's a single bit I'd cut out...And I don't say that about many movies.

...and for what it's worth, my dad saw if first time on a plane...and he reckoned it rocked, so maybe it just wasn't calred2's cup of tea.

Gone for the steelbook myself...roll on monday :D

The very end scene of the movie (press conference) is an absolute hoot

I almost spat my coffee over the screen :-D

I loved this movie. btw the very end scene of the movie is after the end credits & has another famous actor in it. And Tony Stark made a guest appearance after the end credits in the new hulk movie. My children won't leave the cinema now until they're sure there's nothing left to see :p

& another btw, this is for sale for £8 from tomorrow in-store in Morrisons >http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/264465/ironman-dvd-at-morrisons-8-in-store/?p=3291449#post3291449
