Isle of Jura 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky (70cl) - £18 at the Co-op - One of the nicest single malts I've tasted...a bargain at £18! Bought this evening at Danescourt, Cardiff but pretty sure it's a nation-wide offer.

Shame they put the price up!

It used to be under £17 in co-op before Christmas, managed to stock up on a couple of bottles to tide me over the winter months!

Voted hot as it's a cracking whisky (for the money), and you don't get many malts for under £20 post Christmas.

Rufus.

I think the price increase is due to VAT going back up to 17.5%...although I may (as usual) be wrong!

Jura is not a bad single malt and this is a good price. I'd love to see Laphroiag (sp?) go that low!

Got it for £16 6 days ago from co-op by victoria park warrington... anyone else in Wazza should give it a go. At £18 though, still a total steal!

If anyone prefers the 12 year old Glenfiddich, Sainsburys are doing the 70cl for £18 at the moment, in store and online -

I'm pretty sure I glimpsed Laphroaig on a special offer somewhere this week - must have been the Co-op as that's the only supermarket I've been in.

But I'm still in the process of tanning the bottle of Jura I got for Christmas so I never checked it out properly.

Laphroiag was on offer a week ago in the co-op for something like £17.70. It is on offer just now in Oddbins for £23!

Jura is a good malt, not at all like Islay ones. Good price for a good malt.

A good single malt, sipped slowly in bed, is the best tasting cure I know for insomnia! lol :)

I think Laphroaig 10yo is currently £18.52 in the Co-operative (and maybe Somerfield too).
