Just walked in to my local co-operative store in Manchester and spotted this offer is back.
Isle of Jura 10 Year Old / 70cl / 40% / Distillery Bottling
Single Island Malt Scotch Whisky
A very accessible, easy-drinking malt. Medium-bodied with a delicate sweet palate, with a hint of brine developing on the finish. A great introductory malt.

Would people recommend this to someone who usually sticks to Speysides? Im particularly a fan of Balvennie's products, most notably doublewood.

Definately a good deal for those who'll like it, though
As the description says, it's very drinkable... very peaty, which for me is just lovely... Can you tell i like it?
Jura is a good introduction to the Islay Single Malts, It is not as peaty as some but definately worth trying, It is on offer around this price quite often. If you get a tast for Islay malts also look out for Laphraoig and bowmore as they too are frequently reduced in supermarkets and also highland park.

Ps If you buy some and don't like it pm me and I'll send you an address you can post it to :p
