i get tempted but i just cant justify the p+p

I believe if you order something off the free delivery page (items start around 5 pound i think) you get free delivery on your order.
#3
I got this the last time. VOIP phone, 50 blank DVD-R, Pack of glossy photo paper and the metal case/filing thing it came in! Time for number two to be ordered!!!!
#4
Its really hit and miss though thats the problem, I only ever ordered once and got a broken 512mb MP3, 2 USB batteries (1 broken) and a sim card storer (you guessed it....Broken) Hear people have got laptops etc, not sure if I believe it though to be honest, unless they are sending the best stuff to those that order regularly.
Incidentally I did hear that if you actually pay P&P rather than get a free delivery item, the stuff is a bit better, not sure how true that is though.
#5
I got a metal case too, along with a pack of 8 aa batteries, about 4 sets of ear phones, and a 1gb mp3 player, so they are worth it all day long IMHO.

Not again ;-)

Is'nt there a new thing saying you only get 3 items now though?

COLD - wouldn't trust this con company. Most people get rubbish, and its pretty obvious they have their staff post videos on Youtube hyping this deal with amazing items. Most regular occurance is you get the DVDR's or something else worth about £3 and then a few old outdated rubbish items. Why not just use the money to buy a brand of DVDR you do want.

Unfortunately the company is well aware there are some desperate bargain hunters out there who will take any chance to save a few quid, and prey on forums like this to spread the word.

I have had not a single dud from bigpockets - could hardly call them a con company IMHO  Some good deals and service has been spot on.

I've not dealt with this company, so I can't comment from experience. But they don't appear to be trying to con anyone (so be careful you don't risk libelling them - I'm sure HUKD really don't need another legal action threat right now). They even call it a "Bag o' Cr?p" for goodness sake. If you don't want to take the chance you won't get a laptop for peanuts then don't order. Personaaly I'm thinking about taking a chance and ordering. Even if it arrived and was literally a "bag o' cr?p", I could hardly compalin! ;-)
#17
Not ordered one of these before, but its cold and rainy outside and I'm a bit bored, so decided to take a punt on one of these! Will report back when i get my bag o' cr*p!

Which is precisely how they are making hundreds of thousands of pounds on this product alone. They are sending out WORLDWIDE and buying stock in especially for this promo.

Brill marketing by a rather shrewd young man.

Like a slot machine. Loads of bad, occasionally good and rarely amazing goodies arrive.

No different to the lottery (Except the prize value and better odds), but more expensive.

Yeah, wish I'd thought of it first too. ;-)

Both times I've ordered one of these I have had my monies worth. The value of the items always seem to add up to more than £10 so I have no complaints.
#21
Well, I've decided to put my money where my mouth is and placed my order. I needed some blank DVDs anyway, and most places charge delivery on such items, so added a bag o' **** to my order. Will post back when I see what I got.

To be fair Bigpockets nicked the idea from woot.com lol

I couldn't disagree more. I've been using BigPockets almost as long as I've been using the internet (they've been around for YEARS!). In that tim I've bought quite a lot of stuff from them and they've been nothing but helpful.

My Bag of **** contained a metal 240-disc DJ-style carry case (easily worth £6+ elsewhere), 100 CD-Rs and loads of headphones (which are fairly good quality, and really useful to have a lot as I tend to break headphones after a while by carrying them around in my pocket).

Thumbsup to BigPockets!! :)

Con company? Think you are being extremely harsh and slanderous by stating that without any proof.

Whilst I haven't ordered since they closed down their collection counter and have become mail order only, I had ordered many times before from BigPockets for collection and can assure that they are NOT a con company at all, have always had excellent prices on recordable media. However now that I cannot collect anymore I do find their postage prices to be high, and as far as their "free postage" items go, the prices of those are clearly hiked (and most those items are rubbish!).

As far as staff posting videos, it was stated that this was to show what they wanted as far as the competition went for videos of people opening their bags of cr*p...thats not a con, its a demonstration. Someone did actually win the competition of a video showing opening a bag of cr*p.

Would not call them a con company, just not all of what they sell is fantastic, and a lot is bankrupt/clearance stock of products that have had problems before now with firmware etc etc. Not to say there are not bargains their though, google is your friend with reviews and tips etc, some products can be better with revised firmware etc etc. Now they are mail order only as far as blank media goes they are just not any more competitive pricewise against any other competition when you weigh in postage costs on top.

Wow, as cold as this thread is, they've already sold around 120 bags o' cr4p since I posted this thread :-D .
#26
Anyone else have any testimonials of what they got? I'm tempted but put off by the delivery charge.

I take it there's no working free delivery codes or anything either?

Hmmm...

Well, I bought one of them and I'm not ashamed to admin it. Will post back with what I get...good or bad. Thanks for posting this deal as I would have missed it otherwise. Some people seem to vote cold just because they didn't think to post the deal first. I've had my fair share deals voted cold for some very dubious reasons. You could fill a million bags of **** with some of the comments you see on HUKD! :whistling:

i've had two of these, the first one was when i was ordering some other stuff anyway, and i got one of those big metal cd boxs, a voip phone and some dvd cases, which i thought was quite good so i ordered one on it's own and got 2 usb batteries, an mp3 player and a simcard backup keyring. so all good.
i was going to put one in with my order from their sale on saturday as they were in stock saturday morning but they changed them to out of stock just before the sale started and then put them back in stock afterwards, cheaters.

I am just stunned that they charge £15 postage to the Isle of Man!!! It costs no more to post here! ::(

Perhaps they just don't like a race of people that pull the tails off it's pet cats.

Must admit, it's a pretty tasteless way to amuse oneself, Isn't it.

But cheaper than bagpipes, I suppose.

I thought the tail-less cat thing was a natural defect. I remember reading somewhere that it was possibly due to the breeding of a cat with a rabbit (is that even possible?) :-D !
#32
Ordered one, roll on the disappointment lol.

 to the OP

No, it's a fact that they use to cook them up and eat them. (The tails that is)

Outside of the main (civilised) areas they would even eat them RAW which gave rise to a condition called Manx Syndrom where they would develop very hairy backsides. You can laugh but I'm told that it was very uncomfortable.

I guess they didn't have the back, sack and crack wax back in those days :-D !
#35
Damn was about to order, And they are sold out lol
#36
SORRY SOLD OUT Good:-D
#37
missed it
#38
They sell out all 869 Bags O' Cr4p and this thread gets -134°. I wonder who bought them all :? :-D !?!
#39
ahh ****** i was gonna order a second bag!
wonder if they will find any more things to chuck in a few bags....
#40
Big Pockets are a good company to deal with, I would only order one of these if I was ordering something else though as the £6 P&P makes it too expensive otherwise.
