This offer is now back on until Sunday, I posted this month or so ago and it was very popular so just wanted to let you all know it has been reduced again! This is a highly effective hand cream and one of their bestsellers.

Our best-selling hand product - and with good reason. Moisturising hemp is backed by soothing allantoin and panthenol which improves nail flexibility. Extreme moisturisation for hard working hands.

They are also offering free standard delivery with no minimum order charge as far as I can tell. Also just tried the attached 20% code and it worked for me so possibly even more of a bargain!

I use Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream as I sometimes get cracked fingertips.

For me it's the best, and you only need a little

Good find, thanks for heads up

Nice to see marihuana and its powers being put to other good uses.

Seems like a good price but can anyone tell me how this compares against L'Occitane Shea Butter handcream other than being quite a bit cheaper?

Cheers, Paul.
#9
Just a heads up for anyone who is looking - you'll find it listed under T on Quidco as The Body Shop and not under B.
Also, the 20% voucher worked OK for me but only when the VAT was left at the old rate of 17.5%.
Still a good deal though - hot.

In my opinion this is not as good. In my opinion the L'occitane stuff is the best hand cream I have ever used, but if you are looking for a cheaper alternative from The Body Shop I rate the Almond Hand and Nail cream http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/invt/20397&bklist= . It doesn't smell almondy, it has very little fragrance, and what little smell that is there is very nice, is goes in nicely, doesn't leave your hands greasy and leaves your hands nicely moisturised as it has shea butter and all sorts of good stuff in it.
This Hemp stuff is great value though! Bargain.

http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/content/ebiz/thebodyshopuk/invt/56212/lg_massage.jpg

Why???:whistling:

Well thats simple

Because I created the "Natural Fragrance" for it where I worked before being made redundant at Christmas last year!!!!

And no I dont get a bean from it even though it is sold world wide!!!!!:x

Still I'm not bitter

I second this. The hemp cream smells lovely and comes in a nice tube but Ive definitely used more effective creams, and Neutrogena Norwegian Formula is the best Ive ever used.

Trying to think of a way to describe the smell, I love it. Its a kind of faintly licoricey, earthy smell. not flowery or girly.

Nothing beats E45... tried virtually everything else, including this and Neutrogena Norwegian Forumla :)

Thanks for that it's apreciated. Not really looking for a change just wanted an unbiased comparison. I asked and I got one!

I'll stick to the L'Occitane after reading what you said plus I'm not too keen on The Body Shop ethical stance of late.

Voted hot for the pirce and people who want it though.

I love both the l'occitane and the hemp hand creams, for some reason people tend to think the l'occitane is more expensive but bear in mind you get 50% more - the hemp normally sells at £10 for 100ml and the l'occitane is £15-£16 for 150ml (depending where you get it , qvc do a double pack for less than £30 delivered) so it works out roughly the same.

Obvlously the hemp being half price is the deal breaker here though but just wanted to clear that up...!!

Disagree. I find E45 very greasy, just not moisturising enough for the greasiness involved.

You're right about the similarity in price, when I refered to the lower cost of the hemp cream it was in relation to this deal. Since I've not seen the hemp one before it's good to get a fair comparision from people who have tried both like yourself though.

To be honest I get the L'Occitane cream because I spend half my time in Paris so L'Occitane shops there are as common as Starbucks are here! Oddly I still sit through Alison Young flogging it on QVC everytime it's on though even though I never have had need to buy it from there yet. Must be the Quidco/HotDeals/QVC/General shopping addiction thing.

Don't know whether it's still on but if you join the 'Love your body' bodyshop card scheme, (£5) got £4 back from quidco and a free gift. 10% off future orders and various offers throughout year.
Also used 20% off code.

Mentioning it as I bought some of this hand cream with my order and yes it's very good. I get v.bad cracked skin on my hands.

Lucky b****r, we found a L'Occitane store in St Malo last year and were like the proverbial kids in a candy shop, especially because it was a fair bit cheaper too! Totally agree about the QVC thing, I sit there hovering over the phone every time its on even though I have enough hand cream to last me a good couple of years (what with this deal too lol) ;-)
