Its Back! Stunning deal for Existing customers of any Virgin Media Service. (And not too bad for Non-Virgin Media Light Users)

Free Phone Offer ends 30th November. (Usually £40 for the phone + £8.50 tariff per month)

£10 pm/18 months for None customers.

For existing customers, add to basket via the link given, then sign into quidco, track back to your basket on the Virgin Mobile website and pay (Tracks at £30)

So effectively 18 * £8.50 = £153 - £30 Quidco = £123

£123 / 18 months = £6.83 per month.

For none VM customers 18 * £100 = £180 - £30 Quidco = £150

£150 /18 months = £8.33 per month

Admittedly its only 100 mins (Additional 100 to VM network) and 100 texts per month but for anyone on pay as you go its a killer deal seeing that on pay as you go at carphone warehouse this phone costs £100, for an extra £23 (£50 for none VM customers) you are getting an 18 month contract with the 4gb included micro SD card Nokia 5530 phone!!!!!!!! And to top it off £20 Voucher for use in Nokias Music Store for MP3 downloads, stunning deal.

Delivery charge of 4.88, next day delivery via courier. Direct Debit arrangement needed for the 18 month contract.

I'd be very wary of adding it to your basket, and then signing in to Quidco, as it's likely to have added a cookie that shows that it's not sourced via Quidco.

It's preferable never to visit the retailer's website before visiting Quidco and clicking to go through to the retailer from there, as the tracking cookies will be prior to Quidco of course.

Thats the way I did it last time this offer was on here, however you can click through Quidco to the general Virgin Mobile website, click on the Phone & broadband tab, then back to Virgin Mobile offers for existing customers from there and add it to your basket if you are an existing customer :) The whole website is interlinked with tabs, just the quidco link only takes you directly to the none existing customer area, clicking the phone and broadband tab, then selecting existing customer pay monthly offers will bridge back fine.

If you are not an existing customer, then obviously just using the Quidco link is fine anyway as it takes you directly to the none existing customers area.

Been looking for a good deal for a few weeks now i am an existing mobile customer and this is excellent, nokia 5530, good phone, excellent deal thanks, gone through quidco as well, not got an email from them yet though, hope that goes through,

Give it an hour or so to track, if the worst comes to the worst with Quidco you can always raise an enquiry ticket, as long as they have the reference number from your Virgin invoice that they can then check with Virgin you should be ok.

It is an excellent deal, particularly if you have an existing pay as you go phone to trade in somewhere for some extra cash afterwards. Had mine for 2 weeks now after the last offer on here and it is excellent, especially with £25 free MP3s as well, 2 albums or songs of your choice. Works great as an MP3 player, and the sound quality even through the inbuilt speakers is surprisingly good for such a small phone.

Add to that it is a symbian operating system based phone there are plenty of third party applications for it to install too.

If you are a light user its a great deal, if you are considering a new pay as you go phone (and this one is 100 quid to buy) and top up at around 10 quid a month its a no brainer deal in my opinion as this over 18 months works out far cheaper. On top of this, Virgin Mobile do allow in your contract deal to swap and change your monthly plan, so if there are periods whereby you feel you need more minutes, you could swap to a higher plan, then back down to the 8.50 per month as you wish.

How is an existing customers contract paid for? Are the charges separate from the media bill?

You can EASILY piggybank off those, just ask them for their Virgin Media customer number, its not tied to their account when you get your invoice at all :thumbsup: The charges and account for Virgin Mobile are seperate from the usual Virgin Media Bill, you only need the customer number to validate you are a Virgin Media customer to bridge the website to the existing customer deals :) You still have to create your own account with your address details, user name and password, doesn't seem to be any validation against the Virgin Media customer as far as I can see. You need to put in your direct debit details, so I presume the fact they need all these details regardless of whether you are a Virgin Meda customer or not its certainly not at all tied, I am a Virgin Media customer, if it was tied to my Virgin Media account they wouldn't need me to enter these details, but they do, so I am certain you could use somone elses customer number. Try it out.

In fact i have just tried random digits in the customer account number in this format! and it let me proceed!

You do get better allocation of minutes and texts on their sim only pay monthly deals in comparison to their pay monthly + phone deals, but I guess thats to be expected.

Getting similar with those sort of minutes and texts would be nothing short of a miracle, they are already practically giving this away as it is! :)

Same for me its my first contract phone too, the only thing to remember with it is to cancel your insurance after three months free, else its 5.99 a month thereafter, make a note of that on the calendar. Also never use your landline phone to contact Virgin Mobile if you have any problems, they sting you on an 0845 number, speaking to someone from Virgin Mobile on your mobile phone on the number 789 is a flat rate of 10 pence, to check your minutes/text balance on 789 is free.

You're welcome for the deal, glad its of use to others. It is fantastic for light users wishing to upgrade from a pay as you go, especially ones that have been considering buying a new phone.

To be fair to them, they send out your insurance policy seperately with a user name and password details, you can cancel at any time, so even if you were shafted for a months insurance its easy to cancel.

As a VM customer there is the £12 a month tariff, 150 mins/other networks & 100 mins to Virgin Mobile customers and 250 texts.

Otherwise for non-VM customers its £15 a month tariff for 200 mins and 300 texts.

Good deal - ordered mine and Quidco has tracked.

Its to replace a Virgin £10 sim only deal - I never use all the minutes and this gives me a new phone to play with. When I ordered, it asked me to log into my VM account and let me choose to keep my current number - very pleased with this as I thought I would need to transfer it later.

Help please, If I cant get on with the touch screen for texting (yes I know i have to move with the times!!), can i then put the virgin sim in my old unlocked phone? as my hubby cant use his "3" sim in his old unlocked phone, I am a low user so the the tariff suits me perfect.

This is for virgin customers upgrading, and for 24 MONTHS, sim only a better deal. and if u buy any nokia phone on T-Mobile any deal, u will receive £50 music voucher..

I have a sim only deal at the moment and for £10 per month i get 200 mins to any network (which i hardly ever use) and UNLIMITED texts, now that is a good deal........:)

I would get a sim only deal 150 mins 300 texts £10 mth - T-Mobile NO contract sim and yes will work with any unlocked phone.

I phoned up to confirm the additional text as there is nothing mentioned on the website and was told that it was only the extra 100 vm minutes that you got no extra text.

plus someone in a previous post said that you can get this on a £12 deal with more minutes and text but when you order the phone you can only choose either the £8.50 or the £18 tariff.

one other thing the rep that i spoke to needs to go back to charm school as i ended up hanging up on her because of her attitude

Thanks for the help, have ordered with the £8.50pm tariff and quidco tracked in minutes.
Will keep the phone for me and my daughter can have the contract txts rather than being PAYG.
Its a win win from me.
Just thought: Wife can have the 4Gb micro SD card for her Nokia too as she has tons of pants music she wants on it! :)

You don't put the phone in the basket when your in the media site, then change to the V Mobile site and it should show up in there. Checkout doesn't require your media email but a new mobile account unless you have a virgin mobile already

Ahh i realised my mistake, I kept trying to log into existing account even though I dont have one and then because this wasnt working, I thought I had to press 'create your new account.'
I went back and pressed new customer to virgin mobile :thumbsup:

Sorry my mistake it is only 100 minutes call time not an extra 100 texts to VM customers. Amended description, thanks for the pointer :)

Phone out the box is sim unlocked, you would still obviously have to pay Virgin the £8.50 per month until your Orange Contract expires, which would mean unused Virgin texts and minutes, would it not be worth waiting until closer to the time?
