And the deal is ??

ASDA

2 x Ciabatta Breads 67p or 2 for £ 1

Pasta 500g Various 2 for £1

Pasta Sauce from 71p

So were's the Deal ????:p

Or are you one of these little rich kids that only shops at M&S or Sainsbury's Ra Ra, One wouldn't be dead is ASDA, LOL

I saw this deal in Charing Cross yesterday, the carbanara pasta sauce from M&S looked much better than the one I usually get from Asda and they weren't priced too differently I think.
Would be nice if the deal included some meat too.

OK

ASDA

Napolina Pasta 96p

Extra Spacial Sauce £ 1.18

Ciabatta 67p

or Value / Student LOL

Pasta 47p

Pasta sauce 36p

Ciabatta 67p

Yes its probably cheap for M&S

I am just trying to make a point, the average Joe does not shop in M&S everyday.

And I dont get my suits from Armani! But if there was one on here for £100 I wouldnt compare it to one from Burtons!

Brrrr cold - How is this a deal? Even famous named products are cheaper than this.

Unless you're one of these - "I dont mind being overcharged for overhyped tosh" kind of person.

In the past I have worked for a company supplying M&S with some of their food products - same products were also sent to other supermarkets - only difference is packaging.

Mark and Spenser is ok but certainly not the quality it used to be...

I got this deal with pesto last week and was pretty impressed, being a particular fan of pesto and having previously tried the cheapest no brand one that tesco does (I'm definitely not a slave to brands), the m&s one certainly was a clear cut winner. The pasta was particularly good too.

thumbs up from this corner.

this deal has been on for ages and the bread is lovely.
also the bolognese is bursting with meat unlike some other brand bol sauces.

Yikes! You sound like one of those people who has never been out of their own village.

I personaly think Asda's extra special range is just as good as M&S and cheaper too.

I prefer this one for a quid extra.
At least it has some meat

Yea it makes me laugh that people post M&S food deals like they were astonishing value for Money. 2 dine in for £10 well I never deals really blow my sox off.... These posts are not really a deal but just advertising a commonly run marketing campagn.

Well I live in London but definitely couldn't afford to do my weekly shop at M&S. I do go in occasionally as they sometimes have decent deals on - for example their chicken & bacon layered salad,(absolutely scrumptious) normally £3.99 is half price at £1.99, as are their 4 packs muffins at 64p (choc chip, blueberry or coffee). Jack Daniels 70cl £19.99 (£2 cheaper than Sainsburys although Tesco are selling it currently for £17.99.
Packs of spicy chicken wings, roast chicken drumsticks or cooked chicken breast slices 3 for £5(and not stingy portions either).

Their own brand "Wise Buys" range of products is pretty good value overall.

Their 2 dine in for £10 is not bad depending on what's on offer, this weekend they have the Oakham Chicken which with a decent bottle of wine is worth the £10 alone, plus you get a side dish and a desert. Having said that most of the supermarkets do similar deals.

Frozen: BOGOF on garden peas 99p, oven chips £1.49, cooked rice and vegetables 99p

When you're on a budget like me, I keep an eye on the weekly supermarket offers

Lidl deal was way better, a 400g pack of lean minced beef, a bag of pasta or spaghetti, A jar of dolmio pasta sauce and a twin pack of garlic baguettes all for £3.50

OR

1kg Lasagne, Big bag of sweet and crunchy salad, and twin pack garlic baguettes for £3.50

Well said,I live in Sheffield and have small weekly budget, but I do sometimes shop at M&S.You have to shop with your head not your heart and play the supermarkets at their own game.
