A previous deal like this was posted by arriaga about 7 weeks ago but Clintons are now re-introducing this saving of £5 on a £25 iTunes gift card for one week from Monday 16th February 2009 - as I understand it this will be instore only.

Please note that I have this from a very reliable source.

Most of it is but not all. And if you bought a load of it before it became DRM Free.... oh dear.

Is iTunes the only place to download legal music?

Cold, Itunes is overpriced anyways.
#13
Cold as these offers weren't publicised in Clintons several weeks ago. And I doubt any will turn up with a piccie of the promo now. Wild goose chase imo.

Great post Fozzza. But not as good as the Extras book.

It will be by next month. All tracks will be DRM free then.

Except it is in AAC format so that will limit the choice of players.

This is definitely on. Have confirmed in Exeter High Street store. It's not advertised, but the cards scan at £20.

Thanks Fozzza.

No apology needed from me. Though I need one from you. Lol. I went into the Newport store and asked the shop assistant if they would sell me a £25 voucher for £20 and they wouldn't. I should have followed my instincts. Another wild goose chase aka not a national offer. I rest my case. And rest on my laurels.

I bought one today. Got a £25 card for £20. Thank you.

It will be by next month. All tracks will be DRM free then.

And then all the DRM'ed music you already have will cost you 25% of the original cost to unDRM them. So much for the convenience of buying a online track over a CD. :whistling:

I've unexpired as it's still advertised instore according to tmj2007 today :
Instore only. Spotted on window display in Newcastle Eldon Square store.

Thanks

I would only get this voucher if used straight away! Clinton are having some financial difficulties (see http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/industry_sectors/retailing/article5733693.ece). The Zavvi gift voucher fiasco comes to mind here!

I am a sucker for punishment. I was walking past Clinton's today and saw a big poster with this deal on it. So I went into the store and asked for a £25 itunes card for £20 as per the poster. But the £25 card scanned at £25. The shop assistants both said that the order must be over and that no one had told them. They apologised but I asked them to take the poster down. I am going to try and expire this deal.

Exact same thing for me, they tried phoning someone who said it was over. So annoying as I was in the day before and asked if it would still be on
