Why do people always have to nit pick and look for bad points? It's wireless headphones for under £20 for goodness sake.. The nearest price is £28 on eBay for a refurb (used) set, and the guy in the video posted paid £53.99 and he likes them.

Alright they won't compete with ones 2-3 their price, but I'm sure they are well worth £18.

Good find OP and thanks to byron for the slightly cheaper Dixons link (part of the same group as Currys, so they're usually priced the same)

Not a terrible deal but you can buy sony one's for £30 pounds, so its probably worth paying 10 pounds more for SONY!

UPDATE:

I meant Phillips - but still I had a pair of phillips wireless once and they were excellent.

Although wifi radiation is non ionising, it is still microwave radiation. This will give you a headache over extended use as it cooks your braincells unless you move it slightly every few .
#23
If you want to use it with something that has bluetooth this is a good alternative as you can use any headphones with it and justy replace the headphones if they break. Also can connect to 2 devices 1 to listen to music the other for phone calls.

http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/13704097/Sony-Ericsson-MW600-Stereo-Bluetooth-Headphones/Product.html?_%24ja=tsid:11518%7Ccat:13704097%7Cprd:13704097

But dont use it for games/videos as there is a slight lag which can be annoying.

Yep, you connect the RCA cable to the TV. Although not sure they'll be suitable for long gaming sessions given the fact they are battery powered. You'll need at least 2500 mAh rechargeables...

I don’t like the doughnut-style padding — the sugar gets in my hair and the jam runs down my earlobes and drips on my shoulders.

Shak, how can a radio receiver cook your brain? Receivers do not emit radiation, they receive it. The base emits radiation.

Been looking into getting some wireless over the ear headphones for a while. These are great value and excellent quality. Cheers!

I recently bought a pair of sony wireless headhones.

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sony-mdr-rf800rk-fm-wireless-open-headphones-refurb-ebay-argos-16-99-delivered-1263863

I sent them back because the background hissing at quiet parts was annoying. Would these be better or is that just a problem with all wireless headphones?

Thanks.

Wifi bases, unlike radio are directional. Hence they "aim" at the receiver, in this case, the headet.

It's all nonsense. If that's the case then I guess it means my balls are frazzled from keeping a phone in my pocket - mobile phone radiation is 100 times stronger than Wi-Fi!
So theoretically if WiFi waves cook my brain, then putting my mobile to my ear should result in this:

well there is no long term (20+ years) research for either, already use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, already got a kid so I'm happy. But to put one of these strapped round my brain?

For WIFI (which this isn't- it just uses the 2.4Ghz band) the only access points that "aim" their signals at receivers are those with beam-forming antennas e.g Ruckus, NOT any that have a simple dipole antennas i.e any with external antennas and many of those that have diploes internally.

I would be buying this headphone (and the company that makes it too!!) if it used beam-forming in a headphone they sell for 20 quid!
