Jack Daniels 1 litre £20.00 @ Sainsburys instore

£20.00 @ Sainsbury's
Normally £28.47 I know it has been done for just less than £20 before but it is the cheapest just now. Good buy for anyone who enjoys this fine whiskey.

Great find

is this store specific because my local sainsbury has no price on it

£28 sounds a rediculous RRP. £20/L sounds about right to me, 70cl for £15.
#5
Them prices are correct for most supermarkets. I know what I'd like them too be.

I was in Sainsbury's buying some cheap Easter eggs last week and got a voucher with my receipt for £3 off a purchase of £30 or more. Went back in got the litre of Jack, bought a few more items that were on offer to take it up to £30. Essentially got a litre of JD for £17, and picked up a few more HUKD bargains to boot. Result. Dont know if the vouchers are printed out randomly or if it is a deal at the moment, but I wasn't complaining. :D

70cl for £15 equates to £2.14/10cl which would be £21.40/litre (just saying :) ). However, most places generally take £16 minimum for a 70cl bottle when not on offer.

although this is a good offer for the UK it does bring home how expensive we are when comparing it to the 1Ltr bottle we bought in Gibraltar last month for £13

They are printed out depending on your shopping profile from info gathered about what you buy, what they think you might like etc. Different shoppers get different voucher deals. They must think you are a tramp :D

Big Ishoooo :D

There is a small Sainsbury's next to my work and I often nip in for a sarny for lunch. Obviously not spending enough money, so they are trying to get me to spend more... and it worked. Well played Mr Sainsbury.

Well I think there is a very complicated logarithm employed here with regards what you buy over time and what offers they give you. Either linked to your debit card or Nectar card.
I'm waiting for the condom discount voucher to be printed to confirm my status...sorry I mean suspicions.8)

Hmmm, on reflection that might be because they think I'm not getting enough. :|

Agreed. This should be called paint remover. Worst drink ever made.

Nevertheless good discount so heat added.

Would those be the same millions that dilute the taste with Coke?

Voted hot, not a bad price for a litre of Jack.

LOL, I was just about to post the same.
I've heard of JD described as many things before - but "fine" is not one of them.
They just can't do whiskey in the US!

Jack Daniels is a sour mash whiskey, and not a bourbon. All them people who drink it cant be wrong.

This offer was on in Sainsbury's in Islington, London and Whitechapel, London until about a week ago. Now gone back up to £28.

The 70cl house bottle is reduce to £17.16 though, instead of £21 something.
#24
Asked in my local Sainsbury today and they said the offer ended last week.
