Small bottles of jack daniels 20cl on sale at £3 instore at sainsburys. price went down this morning. works out cheaper than the tesco 1 litre bottle at £20. 5 of these makes a litre at £15.
Bacardi 20cl is also same price but not as good a deal as this.

Is this nationwide?

No, they’re a Building Society and last time I checked they still obstinately refuse to sell alcohol in their branches. It’s like prohibition never ended in there.

Spoke to a store this morning, they knew nothing about it till 9am apparently, and they are cleaned out. There is a bloke wandering around the store with a trolley load - all of their stock! She was going to talk to the manager to get a limit put on per customer.

Seems fair to me - 10 per customer maybe would only be like 2 x 1litre bottle equivalent.

Have to laugh at the idea of somebody with a trolley full of them. I'd love a picture of that.
