Hi Guys,

Just popped into Sainsburys in Newcastle (Heaton branch) and they've got Jack Daniels (750ml) on offer for the grand price of £13!

Thats almost £5 off the usual price!

Enjoy and remember, please drink sensibly!!

Please alter the title,
add shop and price
#3
Good find, I think I will take a trip into Heaton later today :)
#4
the last tesco deal that was on here was 2 bottles for £25.00
so this deal isnt that bad really...voted hot :santa:
#5
Some detail in the title would probably help - size, price & retailer - if they are added, the heat will come.

Good first post still - well done.

"Normal" price for JD is £16.65ish at Asda etc.. Sainsburys will have you believe it is more like £18 to make the offer look more attractive. Nothing wrong with £13 though

Added " (750ml) for £13 in-store @ Sainsburys" to title :)

£11.05 if you work there, and 22 nectar points.

Not a fan myself but I'll grab one for my housemate
#14
Thats one of my favourite. I am glad to see at this price. Heat added. Thanks

duty free is cheaper -

+ ryanair flight = £1

total about £11/12 quid

cold

Awesome :D
#17
Good... but surely it is only the 70cl bottles
#18
70cl I suspect too i.e. 700ml, decent price though.
#19
I think they've got Jim Beam at about the same price too, which personally I prefer.
#20
great offer. i see that most supermarket offers are based on spirits. i hope they do some stuff on beers.

I go to spain every month with ryanair Duty Free? a thing of the past the airport shop is dearer than the normal shops. I do not think with the current exchange rates against the euro you would make any saving. A litre bottle was about £15 in spanish booze shops but then you cannot take it through with your hand luggage - and it will cost you about £12 to pay for the bag and airport check in

It is a great deal but for the extra £1 odd I'd recommend getting to Asda or Tesco and getting the Jim Bean Black, the daddy of all reasonably priced bourbons.

I agree Jim Beam Black is better than standard Jack Daniels. Its 8 years Old and 43% but I would not bother with standard Jim Beam much rather have Jack Daniels
