Nom, nom, nom!

these were on offer in asda two week's ago for the same price.

Does it actually taste decent or am I best mixing my own ?

Dodgy guys, seriously. It tastes well dodgy! The coke is clearly cheap, and as for the 'Jack Daniels', I'd question whether it really was that at all. What your buying is gimmick, a scam. Stick to a proper bottle of Jacks (bought it as low as £12.50 when offers are on) and get a decent bottle of coke. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with getting plastered on the cheap, but this ain't really cheap if you do the maths!

It's not bad but it's not as strong as a home mixed one.

these aren't too bad but as a kean JD fan these do not even compare to a sofa/home mix, and although this will make me sound like a right drinker, but whack these in the fridge and make yourself a JD and coke with these as the coke, much better lol and that said they are good at this price..........good spot :)

here here fellow JD fan

As a JD conoisseur....:p

This is sacrilege.... Seriously.... buy a bottle and mix your own...
#13
tryed this but no way strong enough,i normally do about a third in a pint glass and rest proper coke,
none of this rubbish, not even worth a quid tbh

Or you could be a real man and drink some proper Whisky.

It taste nice and a good price to buy a few to chuck in the fridge. Came back from oz and in the bars they do this but stronger in a glass bottle (regular beer bottle). Taste so much nicer in the glass and it would catch on here for sure in bars and clubs.

JD isn't as wonderful as many people think, I am certain a lot of JD fans would end up preferring the taste of other whiskey's in a blind taste test. Glenmorangie and coke is seriously morish...

Good price, however I will stick to my bottle of single barrel and real coke Mmmmmmm........

If you can get hold of some of these then try them with Pepsi/Coke and also neat. I'm not a JD hater but most people I know think it's the best thing since sliced bread but haven't even tried any other american whiskeys. If any of those annoying whiskey afficionados start saying "OMG mixing it with coke is sacrilege!" ignore them, you can tell the difference with every single one of the below -

Old Fitzgerald
Cabin Still
Fighting Cock
Wild Turkey
Makers Mark
Old Grand Dad
Heaven Hill
Evan Williams
Blanton's

definitely tastes different to a Self mixed JD and real Coke! didnt really think it would make that much difference with the "cheap" coke that they use, but it does! Still a great deal because this is so convenient, pluck it out the fridge and drink. Some of you may consider a bottle of Jamesons (£12 @ asda) and a couple of bottles of coke, as NUMBER8GAMESTER comment "seriously morish..."

for it to be 6% abv 15% of the can is jack = 49.5ml = nearly 1 1/2 35ml measures
thats around £14 for a standard bottle equivalent even before the cost of a cheapy coke

i don't like jack in the first place so god knows why i posted but probably pick one up to try tomorrow anyway :S

It's got a horrible sour taste when you drink it straight.

I got these on Wed at Tesco for 2 for £1 at the Cumbernauld branch

These are ok. That's about all you can say about them. Yes, they taste different to mixing it yourself. They're probably not as strong you like to make it at home. But if you're somewhere you can't mix your own, they make for a pleasant enough drink.

And I will reiterate that it's a shame to add coke to a decent bourbon!

(what you need is ice and a story)

Yes and why not drink it in a pair of your favorite slippers as you smoke your favorite pipe. :)
