Tri climate, 3 in 1 jacket.
Waterproof, windproof etc.
Gets good reviews, plus it looks ok.
Usually £200 or more, saw it in the sale in Blacks for £160 for the steel grey and £145 for the dirge green.

I'm on the fence with this one, shouldn't you go for Goretex at this price?
Swings and roundabouts I think with the different waterproof materials.
I hear so many different opinions.
However, for £120 texapore 2L is pretty good, decent specs.
Can't think of another decent tri climate at this price.
Happy to be proven wrong though !
price seems OK ish but as above said, go for Goretex

I usually pay the extra for Gore-Tex clothing/shoes but i'm not so sure that other breathable, waterproof fabrics are inferior. Gore-Tex certainly are masters of patent protection and marketing.
Bought something similar from Jack Wolfskin last year and have been very happy with it. I've found Texapore comparable to Goretex for what I use it for: light hiking, going to and from work, standing around at football matches etc. No leaks and even with just the outer shell jacket I have found it plenty warm enough N.ot been up any mountains but I'm sure it would be fine - I probably wouldn't be looking at a £120 jacket if that's what I wanted it for anyway.
good stuff

Texapore is Jack Wolfskin's own version of it - I have a High Resistance Jack Wolfskin softshell with Texapore and it's very good. Certainly comparable with the Goretex stuff I have.
