Just been into Asda to pick up the £99.99 Wii which they only have for £159.99 (gutted). They do have a deal on in which you can choose a suit for £24.99 and you get A £7 shirt and tie pack free. Not a bad price for looking smart in the new year.

Asda Suits

Already posted if it is

Yeah it was posted a few days ago. The hubby got one of these suits from asda a couple of days back...the grey stripe one and it is excellent value for the money! Cant go wrong really....suit shirt & tie all for £25! X)

Value for money, yes.

But sparks will fly off you as you walk along the carpet and you will m ost likley end up with an involuntary miah hairstyle. :D

Disposable suits - what a great idea:-)

Exactly! What's wrong with the word trousers?
Americanisms creeping in everywhere these days. :)

What an odd suit. A jacket with a pair of pants, are they y-fronts or boxers?

I know! Does my head in at a time when everything else is winding me up too. The Garbage Men are strike causing me to use loads of Cellophane to stop Potato Chips from stinking out the Trash Can which I cut myself on requiring me to get out some Band-Aids, the Mail Men are taking ages to deliver stuff because of the Public Holidays, and to top all that the price of Gas has gone up!!! ;)

Until Asda realises their mistake and blatant cost cutting by pairing underpants with a suit jacket .. I recommend people don't buy this until a pair of matching 'strides' are provided!

As a 'proud' owner of a £25 Asda suit already I can confirm the quip about static and nylon are well-founded criticisms. Sparks fly, literally. But it is machine washable, and as long as you don't mind bolts of electric shooting out at every step, it's well worth it. They look good, and wash well too.

Oh blast! I bought one of these two days ago. The man at the register said that it didn't come with the shirt and tie, just trousers and jacket for £25! Did he lie to me?!
Oh and looks nice, good value suit.

Are ASDA OK with swaping clothes ?. As posted on the other thread, I have a classic blazer and a black tie costing £23 total. Would I be OK taking them in and exchanging for the blazer, trouser and a shirt + tie combo for £2 extra ?. Not tried on the items since buying, they are still in the suit bag.

I hate doing things like this as most of the time I cave under any chance of them refusing.

Just seems bad that for £2 extra you get a shirt and trousers. I know the quality isn't the best but I just cant afford to get a "proper" suit. I would love one but ATM a suit is still a occasional item. No need to spend and get some £££ Italian made one.

do for work cheers , use it and bin it when trousers bum does shiny

Armani had better watch out, then.
#16
Never mind Armani, Primarni better watch out too at these prices.

Yeah they will be fine with it. They give you 28 days if the tags are still on I think.

The cashier might have been confused, but there were pretty big signs and a special rack with all the suits on. I don't know if only certain suits are included but if yours was £25 there's every chance it will be.

Ideal for job interview then (just hide the tags) or the above - unless you get sent down.

The offer had ended when I went in-store today. But if you go to the main tills rather than the clothing pay section, the deal is still on.
