how can this go cold when it raises awareness and money for cancer!!! well i am lost for words now!

I agree, there are some sick people on here!! God bless that poor girl, she may not have been everybody's cup of tea (mine included) but she died very young, on Mother's Day, leaving young kids behind, and I think that's tragic!!

Hopefully, none of those criticising / voting cold will go throu the pain and heartbreak of watching a loved one suffer from what is a very cruel disease

Clear enough everbody?
IF YOU VOTE COLD YOU **HEART** CANCER.

Even If you've only got a quid there are better ways to help:

http://www.mariecurie.org.uk/
http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/
http://www.macmillan.org.uk/Home.aspx

etc etc

i'm all for giving to cancer research and i do monthly but why buy a book about some no mark? if everyone who had cancer wrote a book :whistling:

sad for jades family and close friends yes but not strangers who didn't know her

instead of spending £1 on a book about someone who to be honest, no one actually cares or cared about, just give something direct to cancer research

They are voting on the deal, not the cruel disease that cancer is, I agree it is a crippler and noone shuould have to go through any if the trauma this awful disease causes not only for the person but those around them and left afterwards.
Lets leave it on that note now

Back to the deal in question, £1 for a book that for many will be an interesting, insightful and indeed inspirational read is great value for money

Cold. Book isn't worth a quid and none of the money you spend at Poundland will be going to charity.

believe it or not having an insight into someones life going through this dreadful disease actually helps others get through it also as if you are going through it ot does help to read a book like this and it also gives praise to the person/s that wrote the book that they had the courage and bravery to do so in their need they felt the need to help others and not be selfish.
anymore need said for you!

Lost my father last xmas, and until you have been throu it you dont truely appreciate just how cruel it is.

My dad bought a book about a famous jockey who battled cancer and won only to go on have a very sucessful racing career, during those dark days inspirational stories like that can help get your head around the situation

i possibly believe it has been voted cold due to the fact it is more a publicity stunt rather than actually raising awareness. i personally am sick of hearing about it, and the abuse it brings, if they truly wanted to let her RIP then why dont they let it go and chin up and move on as i have done with my dad and grandfather, theres nothing worse than the big C, but going on about it doesnt help, we live in a make your own mind up society and a cruel world so the balance of everyones opinions will never be right. realisticly theres going to be nothing in this book that weve never heard before or even any money going to charity, i'd rather up the money to a fiver to the mcmillan as they do a fantastic job than buying something a publisher has made money on, it aint charity, its robbery.

I think the donation is kind of irrelavant the deal is okay IMO I am sure there are many people that already donate to cancer charitys and always will. The voting is for the deal hot or not? or at least it should be!

I for one am glad you took the time to post it, even if I won't buy 'cos it means you are looking out for bargains for us all and surely that is the whole point of this site?

With regards to your avatar.....personaly I wish I could "Switch it off"

+1 Mcmillan nurses are wonderful IMO, they always went far above and beyond the call of duty, certainly not just there providing a service

This is the type of thread that stopped me joining or posting for so long
If someone posts a deal that isn't popular with the masses then it seems fair game to just rip the **** out of the product (fair enough to an extent I suppose) but it gets really nasty and disrespectful
Wulshaz doesn't have to post deals he (or she) chooses to and so many people are just nasty and there is no need for it. I thought HUKD was about finding bargains and this is actually a bargain. I don't want a copy myself but neither do I feel the need to come in here and post **** and mean comments.

I agree, and she's a she, but when you attempt to be constructive to the OP and all you get is abuse then I think its a free for all:-D

Have to agree in part when my dad was looking for a book he could relate to he kept dis-mising certain ones - mostly because "they all died at the end" ;-)

It's a shame you changed your mind then.

As for "inspiring" I think it would inspire me to top myself.,
As to all the outraged sanctimonious pompous posters on here I will say one thing -

If you live by the sword you die by it.

Even after her death we still cant get away from this irritating, thick, racist no talent bloody woman.

Too true, o so often deals get slated because they dont have it aint my colour/ style/size, im a vegaterian, i cant park my corsa close enough to the shop to save my legs the effort or my personal fave " i paid x amount more last week so am voiting this cold".

Tis is the cheapest this book has ever been and probably ever will be and for that reason alone is a good deal.

shouldnt worry about it, look at it this way, its best they let off all their pent up anger on hukd than the real world, and may even stop them slapping the little lady about ;-)

people constantly slate my avatar and base their opinions on my deals through it but at the end of the day i am promoting animal cruelty! paris wears, eats and sleeps it pink dosent and she raises awareness for it which is what i try to do! no violence dosent help but you look at it and you see why its there!

I don't really care tbh. This is a deals website and IMO this book is junk and overpriced at £1. It doesn't offer value for money and none of that £1 you spend will go to charity. Hence my cold vote.

buy lots of bankrupt and end of line stock. They wont be paying one iota to a charity

When did my favourite site turn into the vegetarian Jeremy Kyle show? Thanks to the OP for listing the deal, although I wouldn't want it, but if it's the cheapest deal for the book, then it's a hot deal isn't it? Or have I missed something?

As for all the sanctimonious nonsense being spewed, what's all that got to do with the price of fish, or rather, what's all this got to do with a mislit tome, written purely for financial gain? For wannabe counsellors, I'm sure you can go and visit other sites and lay on your nonsense - a site for bargains is not the place, and shame on you for attempting to make others feel guilty. So there.
