They just don't taste like they used to!

Not as good as the mcvitie's for sure but at 50p for 36 I thought I couldn't go wrong! Turns out I could, chucked the rest to the birds. Mine were close to the best before though so worth a punt with a longer date

Always check the date on anything from Poundstretcher. I made a complaint to their HQ as when we got home around 7 of 20 items were passed their sell by date, they had not been labelled to clear, received zero response back from their HQ (months now), this company will be next to vanish from the high street.

Yeah as others have said, check the dates on this and any other food/drink they sell. I worked there a few years ago and there were so many food and drink items sent in on delivery which were very close to their best before date. The fact staff hours were cut meant just a few staff members were expected to serve customers, sort out stock, clean the shop, help disabled customers, remember what stock is nearly out of date and do everything else.

A shop can't be run in this way with just 2 staff members and a manger there at any 1 time, so the few staff members would often not be able to keep track of what stock needs to be taken off the shelves as they had reached the best before point. I remember sorting through sweets one day and found a few packets that were rock solid and had passed there best before date nearly a year ago.
