Anything under 10p is a good deal, when i went to sainsburys i noticed they increased the price of a doughnut by 2 from 10p to 12 p, i was not happy! This may be due to the cost of wheat.

No wonder you're "rolley". :-D

It helps when posting a deal to put more information in the thread title - price and retailer are pretty much essential, otherwise people find it difficult when searching. :)

That's my kind of bargain!

How much was the bread? And the milk? Also, tell me how much were the eggs?

Can you post up a Deal for all 3 for me please? Cheers! Many thanks ♥_♥

Are you after organic, basic, TTD or speciality bread?

Skimmed, semi or full fat milk...?

M,L or XL eggs? (free range, organic, basic, TTD?)

Didnt realise people were interested in such basic products

Good deal, thanks for posting :)

10 for 70p as opposed to 99p (standard box) - every little helps (wrong slogan i know!)

Sunday is a good day to go to the supermarker for reduced fruit, veg and bakery items and chiller items.
#8
Tesco's always reduce their pack of 5 doughtnuts from 58p down to 10p in the evenings.
#9
But these are apparently fresh, not evening doughnuts

I've never known a supermarket that doesn't do that at the end of every day! :?

Yeah. I've voted this cold.

The OP hasn't even stated which store it was, and the chances are that if thye did by the time anyone's actually gotten there they'd have all gone!!

I have nothing against supermarket deals, i.e. offers and checkout misprices, but store-specific reductions that won't last 15 mins are pointless.
#12
Thats a HOT deal but i have never been able to eat another doughnut ever since I watched Van Wilder Party Liason Officer! and neither can anyone else reading this, lol

Sorry, ;) lol :p

Get in Duck :w00t:
#14
I normally get 13 for a pound from Tesco's.

"So I got the kids to carry loads home!!"

haha that's the way to do it. If any one ask you why you've bought 50 donuts just blame it on the kids :)

Is it just me, or does anyone else find these posts pointless? I mean, is anyone going to get in the car, or on the bus, just to buy something like this?

Apologies if i'm out of line:?

No, lots of people don't see the point of deals like this, but I think we're in the minority.

It's not just you, it's a pointless deal as it's specific to one branch (which isn't even mentioned in the original post :giggle:

I think the only reason it's been voted warm is because people like doughnuts in general :giggle:

that 30%, in that context 6 p off would be bad deal, its all about percentages!

Off topic, but supermarkets have the capacity to annoy me, especially when the following event occurs:

- people use the basket self scan tills when they have a trolley full of produce. Even a small trolley annoys me.
