This post is mainly to go with the Brass Eye and The day Today posts added earler.
For anyone who is a fan of these channel4 shows will love JAM.. And at a good price too.

Aired on Channel 4 in 2000, written by Chris Morris and featuring the same team as its radio precursor, jam pushes the boundaries of television comedy further than any other show has done for many years.

jam retains the same macabre subject matter and ambient soundtracks as Blue Jam and presents the material in a sequence of distorted, disorienting visuals.

Synopsis
JAM is yet another disturbing dark comedy series from Chris Morris, the twisted genius behind the BRASSEYE and THE DAY TODAY. Spread over two discs, JAM avoids Morris's trademark satire in favour of a disorientating mixture of bizarre sketches and electronic music which probe the darker regions of the soul.

Great show, not such a great deal.

A truly great and bizarre show (the woman who piped her dead baby into the central heating system was really weird) but as said above, not exactly a great deal for a 10 year old show on DVD which isn't even close to being a new release.

True it is not a great deal if u can't spare £9. But I can't find it cheaper so does that mean there is a price rule guideline that says it has to be a certain price to be voted up? Is it because it isn't below a fiver?
I paid around £20 for this about 5 years ago!
Oh well sh*t deal it is then, I mostly posted it on here for anyone that was buying the other Chris Morris deals and may have been interested in this too...
Yes it's just under £9 but it's so worth it! It's a classic ;-)

Is this the one with sketch in about hiring really stupid people to go & tax your car? Or something along those lines?

and there's a bonus feature that you can't stop

Think I've seen this before. Very dark humour!

My point is that while I am sure it is less than many have paid for it, that in itself does not make it a hot deal. In the same vein, just because a DVD is under a fiver would also not make it necessarily a hot deal. The point is, a DVD at about 80% of RRP is not hot, especially when it is neither a new release or a DVD which has not been discounted before.

Value is subjective, but good value is a different concept to a hot deal IMHO.

And calm down dear, its only a DVD

Good point

Far to many crap deals posted on here, just because it happens to be slightly cheaper that anywhere else...
