Found this sauce about a week ago in my local Tesco (Truro) in the speciality foods aisle, they only had 2 bottles there though. Been back today and they have re-stocked, so it must be available elsewhere. I thought I would give it a go for 48p, and I have to say it's lovely - really spicy, but with a lovely flavour too. Definately worth having at home if you like your foods with a kick. Bargain for 48p, especially when the bottle comes with 75% extra free. £1.95 a bottle here - http://www.chillibugs.co.uk/Chilli_Sauce_By_Heat_Jamaicas_Pride_Hot_Sauce.asp

Aaaaargh my little local one didn't have any! Visit to a bigger one to stock up :o)
#6
been this price with 75% extra all years at my tesco.
#7
This stuff is nice, and cheap! Although it does leave a mess in the toilet the next day...
#8
From the same people that make the Encona - this is much more potent and tastier though.

Not at mine, they used to sell the piddling thin bottles. When I found them at this price I bought 15 bottles. I used them to make chilli gravy and basically my own version of Bufallo Wing sauce which is shed loads cheaper than Frank's Hot Sauce and pretty close. I should do a youtube video because it's really easy.

I did not mean years actually(typing error), but all this year i have been buying it myself, i prefer it to alot of the more exspensive stuff myself, alot better than the Encona bottle i tried.

Hot for the tags!

Voted hot on this. Bought a bottle a while back, and really is a weapon of mass destruction.

Forget putting the toilet roll in the fridge, you'll need liquid nitrogen. This sauce is that fierce, and for that reason, absolutely love it.

heated in Jamaica.
#14
gonna stock up and these bad boys hmmmm voted HOT!!
#15
Got a bottle a while back, due to the cheap price.

It is indeed hot! but isn't the nicest tasting.
#16
how does this compare to the Insanity Sauce ?
#17
Dave's Insanity sauce is made out of chilli extract, so you only reallty get the burn.
I have not tried this sauce yet, but if it lends it name to Jamica, it should contain Scotch Bonnets and Habanero's (same as Encona).

Any sauce made with chilli extract gets a thumbs down for me, i like flavour with my heat!

Good luck with the Habs mate.
I am going nucular this year with loads of Infinity and 7 Pots (as well as the usual Habs,Jals,Cayennes etc).
I then make my own sauces.
Still got 5 from last year, and just brought back 5 bottles of different Piri Peri from Portugal last month!.
Hot sauce of everything me thinks!

One piece sliced bread.

Drench in Malt Vinegar

Pour Jamaica's pride competently - just whip it on.

Grate some Norwegian Cheese.

Prepare a cold glass of finest Wine - OceanSpray Cranberry and Blackberry concoction.

Consume.

Can you elaborate a little? Do you toast the bread/vinegar/chilli/cheese?
