Although it looks good, the placing of the heating element - it's PERPENDICULAR, rather than at the base of the kettle - means:
1. minimum water level means kettle has to be at least half-full before it can be boiled
2. more expensive in power consumption ie to make a cup of tea kettles has to boil more water.

Also - it's the noisiest kettle I've ever had.

"You are wrong, the element is in the bottom of the kettle. It is noisy because it boils so quickly. It pours really well and looks good. If I had listened to you I wouldn't have bought one and I am glad I did"

Just been along to our local Comet and the sales tag says "Reduced from £19.99 to 14.99"
