Good job the instructions are printed on them, I wouldn't have a clue what to do otherwise.

What gets me with any of these celebrity chef names utensils is would they actually use them?!

Voted cold - my children thought the pretty colours meant they were made of plastic and could be played with !
Note to the smart alecs..... they were not left lying around within reach, but during food preparation sometimes children like to watch what's happening, and with these pretty knives they didn't realise how sharp they were, as our other metal stuff is nice and shiny so is obviously not plastic.

Just a thought for those with inquisitive children and a kitchen layout that lets them get too close to the action !

Im pretty sure this is a parenting issue and not a product issue.

Not for me, I want to dice with the big one but it will only chop.

I know right, all these years I've been stabbing myself with knifes.
Got a set of these a few weeks back and chopped my finger off the first night.

Excellent.

bought them about 3 weeks ago at this price, knives are bril. , so sharp, watch your fingers
#15
I bought these last time they were posted and religiously use the largest of the knives (I do have to sharpen it though) and it is one of the better knives I have brought. Good deal for this knife alone.

I doubt it. I have a set of Wusthof Grand Prix 2's which I picked up in the US at a bargain price compared to the prices here. I think these are the ones Ramsay used a while back. I doubt Jamie Oliver uses his own branded knives :D

I think you might want to view a few YouTube videos showing you how to use knives safely oO

Good deal but I'm sabatier all the way when it comes to knives
#35
They might be sharp now, but the coating of paint means once they are blunt, that's it. A steel would just take off all of the coating and make them a mess.

Has anybody bought a set of 3 similar at B&M? What are they like? They are only £2.99!
#38
I blinked my eyes and put one in the basket and now it is £7,99!
#39
These aren't the same ones that people had bought previously for £9.99. The name and colours are slightly different. Those ones are going for £7.99 but seem to be out of stock everywhere near me (East London/Essex). Not sure if these are the same, an upgrade, downgrade or otherwise.

Argos are selling 2 different sets of Jamie Oliver knives at different prices (£6.99 for the ones posted) and the £7.99 ones you mentioned.
