Hi all,

This is my first post. This may not be an amazing deal, but it's the best I could find right now for this product.

Use code R3D10 for 10% off the normal price, then code UAR040 for free delivery. Also, use quidco/topcashback for an extra 6% to make it £8.45 in total.

Note: the 10% off code expires monday night I think.

Cheers!

Good price. You'll never do any of the meals in 30mins though!

yes they can take more than 30 mins but the more you practice the quicker you get I have found some great recipes. The satay chicken and piri piri chicken is great

I've just ordered it as a gift for the Mrs... with the hidden agenda being getting her to cook me that steak sandwich. Win win

I didn't buy this book expecting to be able to finish these meals in 30 mins, at least not the first time I try them. It is organised in a way that encourages you to cook faster though, which is a good thing! And what I've tried so far has been very tasty :)

Yea I'm not expecting to be able to cook these in 30 mins, but its guna be fairly quick recipes for good food

he does say that you do need to have everything at hand ready before you start during his telly shows.

its the cooking time hes actually talking about - 30 mins

Two hours???
The equipment you need is basic and it only takes slightly longer than 30 minutes (for the ones ive tried anyway).

I've only tried one so far which was scallops and from going into the kitchen to putting it on the table was 40 mins and I didn't rush at all. Really tasty too.

Great! I've been wanting to order this but couldn't find a code for free delivery. My Mum was going to pay £13.00 from Tesco so this deal will save her a few pounds too.

Heat added!!!

If you think these recipes may be feasible for a top chef to do in 2 hours then either you are completely useless in the kitchen (or greatly exaggeration) or I can out-cook the top chefs - I wonder which one is right!

Depending on how adventurous you are in the kitchen, yes these will take longer than 30 mins but especially after a few goes, I doubt you are going to be spending 3 hours doing them.

It takes longer than 30 minutes because you're having to stop and read the recipe book at each step. I'd imagine, after cooking the same recipe a couple of times, you'd be able to prepare it faster. I've found that the few I've tried (I had this book for Christmas) have been easy to make in around 45 mins. I definitely recommend it - once you've stocked your cupboards with the basics, the majority of these recipes are reasonably priced, quick and simple to make.

No I saw this tested out with 2 different people (might have been watchdog) and didn't some chef actually say no way can you do the recipe as it stands in the book in 30 mins

Mmmm Jamies 30 min meals.

"Take your first ingredient. Drizzle half a bottle of olive oil on it.

Take your second ingredient. Dip it in some olive oil.

Take your 3rd, 4th, and 5th ingredients. Mix them up with some more olive oil.

Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Drizzle some olive oil before putting in.

Once baked, dish it onto plates. Don't forget to drizzle half a litre of olive oil for good measure!"

Can't believe this idiot advocated healthy eating :\
