Nearly bought these a few times myself...great speakers.
#3
Any Hdmi on this system ?
#4
These are just speakers, you need an AV amp to go with them and the amp should have HDMI (nearly all of the new amps have HDMI now).
#5
Thanks KirkSi, thought system was a little like the Sony HTFS3

I bought these from Best Buy not so long ago - I highly reccommend them, when coupled with a decent amp your in for some real crisp sound, also the sub is so powerful you could use it as some sort of weapon to disrupt someones insides! Thankfully there are three toggle dials on the back giving you plenty of tuning.

Heat :)

I got a set of these with a Sony amp - very good speakers and great price!
#8
I use these with my Onkyo 507. Great little speakers and deliver more than you would believe. Sub is good and great package if your short on space.
#9
I've been meaning to invest in these for a while.

Would I need an amp to connect to an xbox or pc?
#10
Just reserved one at my local Richer Sounds. I nearly bought these from a few months back for £214 so £150 is an absolute steal. Thanks OP.

does it have to be an amp with audio hdmi? mine is a bit old and it doesn't carry sound via hdmi. thanks
#12
A dumb question can I connect there to my samsung home theatre system instead of using the provided speaker? I have seen these personally they look very well built and sound is supposed to be crystal clear!

No, Kirk was replying to someone asking if the speakers had HDMI. Your old amp will be fine.

These are very good speakers.

Anybody brought stands to house these little speakers at all?

I use these with my denon 1910. Sound awesome! Powerful speakers for their size. Bargain at this price b

nice price but dont beleive in tiny speakers for cinema. I like big speakers for meaty sound. the 1010i's are the smallest I'd go for :)

shall we stop here before someone brings his Nautilus' (Nautlili??) into the discussion? ;) it's a decent deal if this is your budget and/or you're tight on space.

Have had these speakers running through my sony amp for the last couple of years. They look good and sound better.

Heat Added :p

Contacted my local store and they said it was open box. Is this suppose to be the case?

Been keeping an eye on these for a while... I noticed the Sony 810 Amp is reduced in the same offer.

Many people go to RS and come back with the similar priced Canton's, I expect this is for good reason though!

Santa if your listening..... I would rather have the Boston Soundware Xs's but if your really going to spoil me I'll have the Morduant Short Alumni's...

It says £180 do I just join up to the VIP and I get that price?

I'm plain fedup with my crappy TV speakers and need to upgrade to modern times. I don't want massive speakers and these seem to fit the bill in terms of size & reviews. Can someone recommend an amp that doesn't cost an arm and a leg that will drive these speakers for me please. Don’t know much about this stuff. I guess I would need to buy cables etc in addition to the units also. This needs to be able to connect to SKY+, an EchoStar Sat Receiver & DVD player.

My TV is located in the corner of the room, I'm assuming this really isn't an optimal configuration, though I have no choice.
