The Jane Slalom Pro and Nomad Pro Rain Cover is designed for Jane Slalom & Nomad pushchairs with an exclusively designed 'Roll up window' which is easy to attach and provides protection from the wind and rain.

It is also suitable for most pushchairs which already have a fabric hood as the rain cover has no frame and can be easily folded compactly away.

This is a decent branded high quality raincover, you won't find this under £26+ anywhere - http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=Jane+Slalom+Pro+Raincover&btnG=Search+Products&hl=en&show=dd&scoring=p

We got ours free with the pushchair. That was a wee bit under £26+

free as in the price probably included it already
pushchairs i looked at never came with a full complement of accessories so you can obly buy what you actually need (and make them more money)

You must've been looking in the wrong places then. Got a Mammas and Pappas pushchair, with rain cover and travel bag for £65 15 months ago in January sales. Previous retail price was £90(ish) for the pushchair alone. Sold the bag on eBay for a tenner as we already had one and still using the pushchair and raincover now.

I'm not arguing with anyone. These a re the facts.

So, in my humble worthless opinion £15 for a raincover seems quite expensive compared to the money I laid out for a decent pushchair and raincover (which in effect cost us£55).

thats the thing though - the price of the raincover was included in the package price so you paid for it.

Its no use telling someone that needs one they should get free with a puschair as buying a second pushchair wouldn't be cost effective.
If they need a raincover for their jane then this is a good deal.

The price relative to the outlay for a slalom pro or nomad dwarfs the price of this anyway :)

No. As I said, the cost of the pushchair ALONE was £90. In the sale it was £65, with the raincover and travel bag. Therefore, the cost of the raincover and bag was minus £25.
Anyway, doesn't everyone buy a raincover at the same point they buy the pushchair?
Still, I think £15 for a bit of clear plastic with a few elasticated straps and press studs is expensive, even if it has the name "Jane Slalom" to it.

whats so hard? it may have been 65 with the full pack but it would have been lower without the other stuff as a straight reduction. eg 50 for pushchair alone.
The lowered reduction is an effective payment.

Your opinion on whether its expensive for a bit of plastic is irrelevant when it comes down to it anyway.
This thread is about this particular 'bit of plastic' if you can find it cheaper then post the link.
If its significantly cheaper than elsewhere its hot. If its more, its cold. If its the same then its neutral.
basically end of.
