is good but with taxes it REALLY adds up. we booked with BA in the summer sale to fly to toronto in june-july and it ws MUCH cheaper. aircanda itself was cheaper as well. so do look around

Those fares at Canadian Affair already include taxes. I doubt very much you flew to Toronto in June-July with BA for less than these fares.

£258 rtn including taxes is the cheapest I've seen for London-Toronto for quite a while.

I think CanadianAffair prices on the website now include taxes and all surcharges. I'm in Alberta at the moment, having flown out with them from Manchester to Calgary on Wednesday. Paid about £400 return so these prices are keen. (I'm attending the Vancouver Winter Olympics Torch relay in Medicine Hat today, and will be meeting Terri Clark who's performing there!)

It's better here than when I left the UK! They had a dump of snow last week, but it's mostly cleared now and thankfullly THIS country doesn't close down at the first sign of a snowflake anyway. But the weather can change overnight if the chinook wind changes direction, so it could easily be -30c tomorrow.

It was MINUS 12.5C at 18-10 (13-10 Local Time) when I checked this webcam in North Bay, Canada:

Voted Hot, me and the wife want to know can we both stay out there and leave this politically correct once great nation, and do they have any human bankers over there.

I asked my Canadian girlfriend if her government had had to pay billions of bailout dollars to Canuck banks, but apparently not - just to a couple of their car companies.

That is a good price for a flight to Canada. My family flew to Toronto last Summer, good service at a decent price.

I am heading over to Canada in a few weeks and unfortunately Canadian Affair only travel n certain dates to Toronto in Winter from Manchester so I usually fly out with one of the scheduled US carriers and transfer to Buffalo. Bonus doing this is the generous luggage allowance against the smaller charter allownce and I can travel on my dates . Downside is with the transfer it usually adds a few hours onto each journey.

Still a good deal. Heat added.

Flown with CA before for at least £50 less on all of these routes. Yes a good deal but nothing that great by their standards... think they have raised it over the last year of two.

the missus booked this last year, as was a good deal, they then reduced the prices further around april/may

U may also have to consider £18 (return) per head in case u r traveling with some one and would like to sit together. also there are premium seats available for a premium add on fare.

what are the chances that a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children (aged 2 and 5) will be offered to seats so that everyone could sit together? any idea?

I have booked to go end of may and when I went to look at the seating plan, most of the seats have already been reserved.

Assuming the information is accurate, I would reserve your seats if you want to guarantee to sit together. it could be a bit of marketing to get people to pay extra though..... You also have the benefit of not having to get to the airport really early to try and get seated together which there is no guarantee of.
