The small onyx Jawbone UP Activity Tracker is a lifestyle wristband that creates a unique, integrated system to provide insights and updates that are all about you, your fitness and wellbeing. Make intelligent lifestyle choices with this groundbreaking accessory.

An accessory that understands you

The Jawbone UP smart wristband connects to your smartphone via the 3.5 mm Simple Sync connector to monitor your eating, moving and sleeping habits. Using this unique tool you'll gain new and immediate insights into how you sleep, move and eat, which will help you make smarter choices.

The UP app that accompanies the device displays movement and sleep information, celebrating milestones (like how far you've run or walked, or how many days you've slept properly) and challenges you to improve every day.

A vibration motor powers a silent alarm clock which reminds you to get up and starting moving.

when they can measure hydration levels, vitamin and mineral levels as well as all the stuff they do now, then I would be interested....£39 is not bad though, I think I would be willing to invest that

Reviews on amazon are not very good: it looks like it has battery problems and won't last long

We'll be all working for Starfleet or something like that before that happens!

Get the up24 for about £50 or wait for the 3.

This requires you to take it off and plug it into your phone. 24 is Bluetooth enabled and the 3 includes heart rate monitoring

VERY HELPFUL. THANKS

Agree with comments above, I got the 24 for Christmas after having a sneaking suspicion I was getting just the Up. Glad I got the 24 because plugging it in all the time would be a ball ache.

UP is an obsolete device, suffers from battery problems and only has iPhone app available.
With UP24 available for about £50 it makes absolutely no sense in UP for £40.

nonsense. It is NOT iPhone only, there is an android app. Personally I haven't had any problems with the battery on mine but others may have different experiences, I don't know. I'd be very keen to get an Up24 for £50, the standard Up isn't compatible with my wife's phone, where can I get one from?
