"Jawbone UP24 Activity Tracking Bluetooth Wristband - Persimmon - Small", 50% off - probably clearing them out before the 2015 model arrives. Limited stock so move fast - they had the Large ones in this morning, but they're all sold out now.

Note, this is the UP24 model, not the earlier UP model that my local Currys and Boots are selling off cheap.

Yep, that's why Jawbone are launching the UP3 next year (which DOES do HRM). On the other hand consensus seems to be (way over my head, so I'll just nod and accept what others are saying) that wrist mounted HRM's are so inaccurate so as to be almost useless.

They're good. But only for tracking movement and sleep.

The app requires a lot of inputting of food and assumes the calories for you.

Sorry, only £39 at Currys / PC World so cold from me.

Link? You may be mistaken by it being an up, not an up24

the app doesn't "require" inputting of food at all..... if you don't want to spend the time inputting it then you don't have to and it still tracks sleep and steps just fine.

You can just scan or photograph the barcode of whatever you are eating if you want to track your food and link in the MyFitnessPal app...

So you spend £50 to know that you walk, and that the more you are active, the more your app says you're active? No point in that.

Sleep pattern is a nice addition, but what you do with it matters. You know you're not sleep long enough or well enough without a band/app to tell you.

To get the most out of it you need to use the app or myfitnesspal to track macros, you need to add in your workouts and you can not Skip things.

If you can't be bothered doing the input, the output is pointless!

What utter nonsense in a post..... Can't even be bothered to address any of the points raised, got better things to do with my time and anyone with common sense will work it out.

@morpheus, please do tell me why these are so fantastic? I've used one for 3 weeks now, so enlighten me.
