I haven't heard this but have one of the newer JBL Onstage speaker dock which was about £50 - Sound quality is excellent for a little dock - I have it connected to my computer so use it as an iphone speaker, data transfer dock and pc speaker. Glad I paid £50 for it so I reckon this one is a steal!

I was looking at the part that says its compatible with most CD players and Laptops.
My laptop has pathetic speakers, so how would it connect (I have a Toshiba Satellite) and also a CD Micro-System so would it connect to that so I could play my iPod music through it (thus bigger sound from more speakers)?

Using a 3.5mm male to male cable, which should come with it, connected to your laptops headphone socket.
