I saw this in wilkos, a kid was playing with it, he walked a bit with controller in hand and it fell apart, an old fella interjected and said you are the second person I've seen do that in minutes.

well i've bought it for my little ones birthday in april, i didn't expect much for a tenner but he is obsessed with anything jcb related so that was more the attraction than the product X)

This is the worse toy ever its not worth 10p let alone £10. The crane falls over if you try and lift the platform, it does quite reach the floor either which is quite annoying for budding young crane drivers

can someone suggest an alternative at a reasonable price? i will then return this one.

I purchased this one for Xmas for my little one from B&M Bargains it was £6 there, yes it's very annoying having to re-build it every 5 mins, but he absolutely loves it to bits, keep it, he'll love it but be prepared for a few rebuilds !!!!

Thanx for your feedback on it, Its too big to be carrying on a bus again so i will keep it :-)

I was asked to repair one today - had stopped working.

Took controller apart and there was a fuse which had blown. But fuse was type with legs and hard soldered. I bridged it with a piece of wire which got it working.

I accept no responsibility if you try it.

4yo's favourite present on Xmas day for about an hour. Repeatedly fell apart and then the motor control went all flakey. Boxed it and returned. A great example of how building things down to a price to maximise profits ends up with people like us probably never now going to buy a JCB-branded product again due to how cheaply this was put together. Shockingly bad :(

i am tempted to open mine up now when he is in bed and play with it to test it out, i don't want to wait until the 30 days is up then discover its that bad he can't play with it on his birthday
