Bought this from Amazon a few weeks ago at £8.74. Picked another set up from Focus at £5.00, so HOT for me:thumbsup:

I have this set - its not great quality.

It was a present - and I would not have bought it myself.

The bits are fairly rusted after being left in the rain - so I doubt they are chrome vanadium.

The imperial bits are best left out the kit - as its unlikely they will fit your car - and are just an inconvenience if you keep the kit in your car.

The flexible drive is handy though.

Hi Ibiza - Top tip don't leave your bits out in the rain. LOL :-) Hot from me.

As far as I'm concerned JCB excavators have sold out their quality name by letting these Chinese tools come in under their brand name.
Exceedingly cheap and at the bottom end of DIY - they should have gone for top end with the JCB badge.
Soon people will expect a JCB backhoe loader to fall apart or last just a few weeks like the tools under the same name.

Sorry about the rant - it is a good price never the less:whistling:

I too bought a set of these from Amazon - no they are not the greatest but then the cost should point most people towards that anyway. However Im a telecoms engineer and they have come in very useful the past couple of months whilst I have been working on installs and I have found them to be of very good quality for the price. Extremely hot at £5.

Edit - 100th Post :)

bought mine from amazon for £7ish a few years ago. Ok for the price but my first set went back after a week because the magnet came out from the bit driver. Don't think it is a super bargain just normal price if it was £7ish delivered from amazon

Someone expired it :whistling:

But I guess they still have them in store
