Seem decent for working in.

Wherever you got the link from m8 you might want to change it, as the person is logged in and there delivery details come up.

Link changed as above, although it didn't show any details when I clicked through from the original.

Thanks for letting us know :)

I dont like ankle support for walking (don't have a go at me) I don't feel comfortable in boots. Does anyone know if these would be OK for walking in, as in walking up hills and the like. I walked 30+ miles in a pair of shoes like this (over a couple of days) and also cycled 1000+ miles over 2 weeks on a pair of shoes like this (minus the steel parts)

Cheers

Previous steel toe capped boots have been considerably heavier than non steel toe capped boots if that's any help

Last time I ordeted size 13 online I got some incredibly long and narrow shoes and I'm a wide fit. Let me know what they are like, I'll get a pair if they're wide.

InExcess order arrived, ParcelForce48, no sig needed.

They threw in a carabinner hook thing for free it seems, little red LED on it, would of prefered faster delivery :)

The 13 size JCB Steel Toe Cap Trainers are great they were replacing my other cheap trainers a pair of Merrels which I destroyed last year.

The JCB's seem decent build quality, nice 1inch heel, steel toe cap, now most of the time I'm a Wide 12, with my Caterpillar Boots being 12 Wide, normal 12 doesn't fit me so I go for 13 if not 12 Wide Cat boots.

These 13's are actually a bit too big and i had to squeeze the laces majority of the way to feel comfy in them, I was wearing thin socks, but should be ideal this summer for me, but I am quite happy with them! :)

I got other bits and pieces from InExcess, cheap stuff mostly, their hygenic wipes for 50p, £1.75 rust proof lock for the shed (easily £10+ in B&Q) all seemed well packaged, overall decent service from them.

Hope that's useful to people.

Excellent. New shoes here I come.

Received mine yesterday. Arrived well packaged with the free key ring thing
( It was in the wrong box as the JCB boot on the box was bright yellow which
worried me until i opened the box! )
I ordered a size 12, the same size steel toe cap I have at the moment but
these are an inch bigger! I telephoned them to tell them but they wanted me to
pay £10 extra for both way postage to get a size 11!!!
My other option is to return, at my expense to receive a refund of the shoe price only!!!!
This means I will be £5 + my return postage out of pocket and still have no shoes!
Has anyone got any ideas?
