Looks good to me - ordered one. Heat & rep added:thumbsup:

Good to see a 4:3 aspect photo frame, I'm baffled why most of them seem to be 16:9 when most digital cameras are 4:3 (aside from SLRs and a few widescreen models)

Anyone seen one of these running in the store? Just wondering how reasonable the quality is.

Hi John

I've seen this working instore and have to say the picture quality is very impressive, it also has a lot of quality features.

It's priced instore as £99.99p - reduced from £199.99p

Out of all the digital photo frames posted on here down the year or so, this is the first one that's actually worthy of a hot deal, good work! 4:3 ratio and a most importantly high-resolution. Shame it doesn't have wi-fi, but I'll be looking at this for my Mum for Chrimbo :)

looks like a good quality one for a change, still would like one for south of £50

Ordered one to pick up today.

Just decided to get one as a pressie last night so great timing!

Sorry to be a nuisance but I can't find as much information as I would like about this on the Comet website.

Please can anyone tell me whether this unit has a battery option or has it got to be connected to the mains to use. I'm interested but want one that can be passed around in a group.

marvellous, purchased at this low price - reserved for store pick up and got a text to say its ready 5 mins later! :)

excellent.
#13
hi,
do these work off 240v, or just batteries ?
#14
Just picked mine up. Listed as £99 instore. The sales guy was gutted cos I was buying it for less that he could get it with his staff discount.

Have to say the picture quality is great. I took a Texet one back to Tesco cos it was ****. I doubt there will be a better digi frame than this for the price before Xmas, so I would advise anyone looking for one to grab this quick.
#15
I have just reserved 2 for collection

Personally I would go for Kodak; looks classier in my opinion. 7inch model< £70 at Redonions.com. Free delivery

If this had xD support and could also use photo's that are on a USB stick I would be very interested. Any ideas if you can? if not, and ideas of any under £80 that could do the trick? Cheers.

Just ordered 1 for collection.

I recently ordered 2 9" citibox digi frame - they look ok but havent used them as they are christmas present.

I just bought two online having visited the store today to see what the quality was like, I was very impressed. Even more impressed when the RRP is £199.99, instore at half price of £99.99 and online for £84.99, when you use the discount code it comes down to £63.74.

I also bought 2 x 1Gb SD cards with the total cost being £134.96, a huge online saving of £85  and I get FREE delivery.

It certainly is a top tip.

I've been looking for a HD frame for a while now and this is the best deal I have seen. Okay there is no internal battery, but you can still pass the frame around with the lead attached !!

I was going to buy the Linx 8" from Amazon at £69.99, which has an internal lithium battery, however the resolution is less and it is more expensive.

Good deal.

Maybe I worded it wrongly. The SD cards weren't £134, the 2 x photo frames PLUS 2 x SD cards cost £134.

That link you posted certainly is some saving at 81%.

Sapphire 8" Digital Photo Frame - it's £80ish from www.overclockers.co.uk

Bought one for the other half's parents for christmas and it's really quite impressive. You can also use it as a card reader for the memory cards that are in it.

I wanted to keep it. :D

#40
Excellent , got 3 ,I had already got a couple of "BOOTS" ones at £38 but TBH I wasnt impressed, resolution was rubbish ,only 6.5",I would have felt guilty giving them as xmas presents  anyway thats some xmas presents sorted now !
