I was expecting a catapult :-D
#2
Me too, as the thread was loading, I was trying to think how a catapult could be used within photography!

So it's basically a £57 rucksack with rapid access zip to open it

i've got one of these - they're good bags. if you've got £3000 of camera kit its completely reasonable to splash out well above this price for a bag to contain it. a recent photo mag i had reviewed bags in the £100-£200. this is a reasonable price - £10 off the norm i'd say

Yep, I have the Slingshot 100AW and it's a fantastic bag - clearly those joking about this type of bag don't use the type of equipment which needs something like this. I have a backpack which holds a decent amount of equipment but with no quick access and I've had my eye on the 300AW but I'm concerned about the weight on the single strap as my 100AW (which I normally have stuffed with a semi-pro SLR and three lenses, plus a couple of batteries and teleconverter) can get uncomfortable.

its to store SLR kit, which may cost upwards of £500, for most tho £2000+ is then norm.....so in context £50-60 on a well made and padded bag is nothing

i have the 200 version which i bought new from amazon for the bargain price of £26
the protection is excellent, ist well made, the sling element imo is rubbish though (tho i seem to be a minority on that one!)

its more than a rucksack...a rucksack offers no protection to camera kit, this is very well padded

If you're going to vote something cold, at least know what the product is and who is likely to buy it. Just because you bought the cheapo 5mp tecknica camera doesn't mean this product is for you!
