gazwgazw

Introducing the new, improved Exakt Saw from JML. This firm DIY favourite has just got even better – with newly designed features that make it even quicker and easier to use.

With its beautifully engineered, patented design – Exakt Saw is a revolution in home renovation and hobbies. Forget hand saws, jigsaws and circular saws, they’re too bulky, heavy and can be tricky to use. Whether you’re a pro or an amateur, this precision mini saw lets you tackle a whole host of DIY jobs with ease and accuracy.

The powerful motor spins the blade at 4000 rpm, to make sawing through wood, tiles, plastic, slate, laminates, even metal a breeze – up to a depth of 12mm. Thanks to the unique dust extraction system, Exakt Saw even clears away the messy sawdust for you.

With improved styling and ergonomic comfort, we’re confident you’ll reach for this incredible cutting tool again and again. Now you can whip through home renovation projects by speeding up tiling, flooring and woodwork.

This complete kit comes with everything you need to get started – including 3 quality sawing blades. Exakt Saw also comes in its own stylish and durable plastic carry case.

Best price for a great tool, if you know of it cheaper, state so, 'cos I want one.

Never seen this type of saw before - are they any good? Not sure I trust the brand, though.

Not being funny but read the title - "from Wed 11/1/12"

    Good deal, great wee saw.

To those who are going to vote cold - if its because you dont have a makro card, why are you even looking on this makro thread?! Abstain from voting and walk on. Heat added!

Got this from makro in October for £40.
It works pretty well but the depth/safety guide doesnt push in that easy when you're trying to use it.
Good for tole cutting! Can get spare blades off eBay but they're not cheap!

take off the saftey guide/guard. i had to and it works perfect without it, aslong as you dont do something stupid with it lol (just remove the clip attached to the green thing)

We bought this to cut our laminate flooring. Complete waste of time and money as it didn't work very well and the blades went blunt very quickly. Would never recommend.

hi there am a joiner , laminate flooring will blunt any circular blade i have a £750 dewalt chopsaw and if i was to cut laminate flooring on the it would blunt the blade . jigsaw with a downcutting blade or a laminate hand saw are the best way to cut laminate flooring . And this tool is a DIY and not for the building trade . Its only good for cutting really thin material

Would have to disagree, i used this tool to lay laminate in a few rooms of my house, and couple of friends' houses - must have cut 1000 bits of laminate and the blades still sharp. And as for chopsaw, my makita hasnt had any problem going through it either. Not disputing what you're saying but ive had no problems with my tools and they get used daily so id notice if they were blunt :)
