If its on sale in Glasgow I hope it doubles as a deep fat fryer
#3
If anyone can find one, a truly bargain price, ideal for one person cooking as everything can go in together.
#4
I'd buy it for the spare parts, bulb, bowl etc. Major bargain.

Amazon reviews suggest these aren't very good, but I suppose at a tenner it's worth a try and then if it breaks down you can either just get it replaced or get one of the better brands.

I have a similar one from Coopers of Stortfird. (These were cheaper than the JML ones at the time.) I absolutely love mine. If you are a small family it is great for cooking meat, roast potatoes, frying bacon. proper jacket potatoes ( I hate microwave ones.) and many many more things. It takes a while to get used to like all new things, but my main oven rarely goes on now.It heats up almost instantly. It takes up a fair space on the work surface but if you have room then it is great. It is also a cheap alternative to replacing an oven if faulty. If you are cooking regularly for 3 or less I would highly recommend one.

great for cooking soup and small birds....
#13
These are fantastic i hardly ever use my oven now. Worth every penny!!!!!
#14
I got one when they were £19 so this is a great price if any left out there.... Used it a few time and works well, very bright though, they should have tinted the glass bowl.
#15
thanks.. I hope my local Tesco has it.. anyone know the product code for this?

Hugh Jass!
great for cooking soup and small birds....

Are you related to the crossbow killer - or just wanting to get one up on him?

Need a deal for a nice bottle of Chianti? - *shudders*

Cheaper than buying a Xmas Turkey I suppose! LOL

Got one at £19, well impressed. Still not sure about cooking times, some joints have taken longer than usual and others shorter! The meat has a very slightly dryer texture, but the stock seems to be much more tasty somehow! We've not used the oven for a roast since getting it.

hmm some really dodgy reviews on the product(exploding glass, poor customer service, constantly breaking down????) ..but maybe for 9.50 worth it...

If you look at my previous deals, you'll see I don't tell fibs? did'nt take any piccys as I work for Tesco and looks vey strange taking photos while wearing my uniform, but it's on their system too, F11 is the stock check system, normally this means its across all Tesco's........but at this price they might be all gone at Silverburn, but might be found somewere else...also good to post just in case :)

Paid £20 for one in the summer and love it.
So handy to cook bits for the kids like fish fingers, potato waffles etc. Also brilliant when it just doesn't seem worth turning on the big oven, heating up croissants, mince pies part baked bread.

The only thing I haven't had success with is baking cakes.
