look m8-these are RUBBISH-asda make 40 percent markup on all jml products for placing them in their stores so how much you reckon jml make?? they are cheap, plastic tat made for fifty pence in the far east. use a knife to chop stuff-its a revolutionary idea!

These are the sort of things you find at car boot sales for 20p

I have one of these and find it really good - especially in the morning when I'm in a rush to make my salad for lunch. I must say I am surprised at the reviews on the amazon site (but then maybe I was lucky and had one of the 'better made' ones).

I can't remember what I paid for mine so couldn't comment on whether this is a good deal or not - but just thought I'd let people know that they're not all rubbish.

I bought a generic one and it was rubbish. The containers wouldn't even fit properly. You can't beat the JML one.

i felt i had to write on here, i had a non jml one that was useless, the metal bent and it was a waste of money. I bought a new and never used jml one at a boot sale ( i know it was from woolworths as the receipt was stuck on the box) and its amazing! does make light work of chopping onions which is the main thing i wanted it for. Unless you've tried both dont see how you can comment!!

I used my JML one for a while then got fed up with it . It's ok if you're having a party or something and want to have evenly cut julienne of vegetables but tbh it's not exactly fantastic at cutting the veg for soup etc which is what I wanted it for . Turnips and swedes are too tough mostly and if you're using it for chips , by the very nature of the design they will come out slightly curved . Also I only paid £20 for mine from woolies before woolies were even in financial trouble so personally I ad assumed they would be much cheaper than this by now !

A review taken from Very :whistling:

would not buy
By suzieshopper from hampshire on 25/5/2010
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

used this to chop a quarter of an onion and it would not chop and the blades fell to bits.
