This iron has some really good reviews and this weekend Wilko are selling for £30 a saving of £20 off their regular price which is a bargain.
Powerful 2200W iron
Ceramic sole plate for non-stick scratch resistant ironing
Continuous steam at the press of a button
The JML Phoenix Gold Iron provides gold standard care for your clothes. A concentrated steam zone at the front helps you to drive out creases, even through multiple layers. It’s so powerful you can even iron without contact, which is perfect for removing creases from around prints, buttons and sequins! You can even steam vertically, which makes the JML Phoenix Gold Iron perfect to use as a garment steamer.

A good iron. We have had one for 18 months now and its been the best one we have bought (so far). Its VERY noisy-as far as irons go-though as it has a compressor for the steam built in, but it is very effective.
I'd recommend stocking up on de-ionised water (you can get for £1 in the car section of most supermarkets) instead of tap water as it empties the tank quite quickly and I could imagine it would scale up quickly if using tap water.
