Joby Gorillapod Original Camera Tripod (Yellow) now only £5 Delivered.
Cheap for an original Joby one. Only in Yellow/Black at this price.

The Original Gorillapod is the lightest and most versatile camera tripod available today. Featuring over two dozen flexible leg joints that bend and rotate, the Gorillapod will firmly secure your compact digital camera to virtually any surface - anywhere and everywhere!

The Gorillapod is the ideal camera accessory for photographers on the go. Throw it in your pocket or backpack and you'll be ready for your next adventure! While the Gorillapod serves all the functions of a traditional camera tripod - steadying your camera under low-light conditions, taking timed group shots, etc. - it is the only tripod malleable enough to provide you with the perfect shot while wrapped around a tree branch, hanging from a pole, or perched on a jagged rock. The possibilities are endless!

Flexible Joints bend and rotate 360 degrees to form the perfect shape. The Gorillapod uses high-quality, injection-molded plastic for snug joints that stay firm after lots of action.

Slim-Line Attachment stays connected to your camera and snaps into the Gorillapod for nearly instant setup.

Lock ring enables extra security to ensure your camera is safely
Ring and foot grips provide extra gripping power to grapple wherever you want to go

No, but will be soon, like the others I have been considering getting one for a while now and for £5 it had to be bought lol!
#7
Great price, I paid £14 or something from Amazon last month. :(

Yup, anything bigger than a small compact will topple it and you will struggle like hell to get a decent grip on anything.

At a guess I’d say because there not... if it's anything similar then it's not made by Joby and if your talking about the small telescopic tripod ones there horrendous to use if your camera's attachment port isn't dead centre

Just noticed this free stop frame animation app on Joby's site, looks like fun if you own an iphone
Joby FrameXFrame
And a similar one for Android
Stop motion lite

Great thanks. I've always wanted one but was never going to pay the ridiculous asking price.
#18
Who buyed all the stock?? :o

This is a good deal but I'm getting disillusioned with Play's terrible delivery times. It's slower than 2nd class post and you have to allow up to two weeks to receive your purchase. In these days where everyone orders stuff for delivery, that kind of service is archaic.

Still there for £5 on my pc, if that's what you meant?

Awaiting stock for me

How odd, I just added another to the basket and at checkout it still says 'Usually dispatched within 4-5 days'
#23
superb bit of kit
#24
I have an original Gorillapod and a couple of ebay Chinese copies and the latter are better.

After a time the fixing plate goes sloppy on the Joby (so to speak)
#25
I use the $4.15 dealextreme version, it's a great piece of kit, I imagine the joby one will be better quality though the DX one is fine.

These things are invaluable. Taken one on solo trips to New Zealand and Alaska and without it I wouldn't have some of the amazing memories that I do from self-timer pics.

Small, rugged and cling to just about anything with a little ingenuity;) Great spot OP - getting a second for my GoPro 'on location' setup :)
#27
Just ordered. Says awaiting stock but hopefully it'll come. Thanks op

I did actually compare the two, and to me they look absolutely identical (bearing in mind I've not seen either in the flesh... apart from in Currys, but the £25 price tag made me put it straight back down.)

Thanks OP just ordered, might get one from DX too

well I got one for the iphone and it was crap......:(

Thanks op, went for one.

awaiting stock, but in no hurry for this.

Thanks for the share - ordered one too. Says awating stock so might take some time to arrive and shame the iphone attatchment or clip is so expensive.

Cheers

Just paid £12 two days ago from amazon cold for not posting this deal earlier lol

Don't bother buying those tripods from pound shops. I've broken two just by gently manipulating them into shape.

The last one broke off right under where the metal bit screws into the camera so there was no way of EVER removing that metal screw in bit as it broke off perfectly smooth with nothing to grip to unscrew it.

This is a hot hot bargain and appropriate heat has been added :)
#38
Well mine's at the "packing" stage now =] just have to find the camera... ^^

fantastic price. heat added
