PLANES, TRAINS and AUTOMOBILES is a fantastic, near-perfect film.

However the inclusion of SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL is odd given that he didn't even direct it. Just wrote it.

The same is true of Pretty in Pink.

Also, both those movies have a really similar plot, I'd go into the details why they made a near clone of the first movie but you are best reading IMDB to save me boring everyone. Of the two I think Some Kind is the better film.
