Every year the toys & such sell out super fast, and most end up on eBay for twice the price. This year though? I think that's their worst ad, I preferred the fake snow globe one.

Just watched it so I could moan about it properly. They can't even do that right which ruins my argument completely! :D

Ah the true spirit of Christmas.

Sad looking soft toys. Pity they couldn't have made them with happier looking faces.

To me they designed the advert around the soft toys this year, rather than creating something original, they just want to get people in the store fighting over the toys, but that's just me being cynical,

Are you suggesting the advert is a money making exercise? Whatever next?! :D

Just seen it very disappointing this year - the student who made a fake Christmas advert for his A level project and who John Lewis invited him to visit is far better - he made his in 2 weeks and I believe they have now offered him a job.

All voting cold for this deal, yet I wonder how many purchased and are now on new listings for buster the dog etc.. on ebay, for hyped up prices. funny that.

The CGI in the ad is top notch, but they put in an African pygmy hedgehog instead of European. The other animals would be bouncing around a stiff hedgehog corpse at those temperatures.
