How do you know this is John Lewis branded tree, there is no evidence of this on the site.

Still a rip off asda are selling 7ft pre-lit xmas trees for £45.

I hope its okay to put a couple of points here, about pre lit trees. i bought an eight foot one three years ago and its stayed in the box for the past two. For two reasons. Firstly, the lights are on the very end of each branch, so there is no light towards the centre of the tree, the result being a rather dull looking effect. To achieve a nice glow and show your decorations off properly, you would really have to thread another set of lights, nearer the trunk of the tree, defeating the purpose of a pre lit tree. Secondly, for each extra foot of height you want, the tree gets much bushier. So if youre used to a six foot tree, and then go for an eight or nine foot one, you will probably need twice the amount of decorations, and you will find it takes at least twice as long to decorate.

Hope Im not a killjoy, just wanted to point these facts out, as I wouldn't have bothered buying mine had I realised.

If we all put back Christmas until mid-January this year imagine the savings we'd find on cards, decorations, & wrapping paper, not to mention the sale items we could pick up for presents!

:)

Is this 16:9 wide branches or normal 4:3 ?
£57.95 for a tree? You got to be kidding.

i used to do the christmas ordering for a chain of garden centres in London, and out of the 100+ pre-lit trees we sold, every single one had the lights threaded throughout the branches as opposed to just on the end. I honestly didn't know that companies still made them with just bulbs at the end!

No idea whether this one is all through or at the tips though, doesn't seem to say.

bah humbug! ;)

My pre lit tree has lights in the middle and on the end. It has 240 lights and i paid around £40 three years ago from Argos. It's been a great tree and will be using it again this year.

Unexpired as still available

There's a further 15% of the price for this weekend so including p&p it comes in at £49, not bad at all.
