There was one comment on the last thread about the lights being near the end of the branches, hence not lighting the tree too well.

I still cannot understand the JL price. Does anyone really pay that for a christmas tree?

Where I used to work in a garden centre the most expensive tree was £350 which was a pre-lit 8' tree. Sold about 100 every festive season. Some people have more money than sense :whistling:

The John Lewis tree in the above link has led lights not micro bulbs as stated on Bargain Crazy.
It looks more like this one I think. It's still £132 on John Lewis though.

I think a moderator should edit the title removing John Lewis, there is no mention of John Lewis branded on the Bargain Crazy website and is misleading

Asda and most cash and carries are doing the same for under 50% of this price.

Who cares what it was reduced from, the same size in my local cash and carry was £19.95 + VAT.

Ok, so I was going to buy it but now I'm thinking I should wait till checking out asda 2moro. Problem is if asda ones are a bit naff, then the 15% off at bargain crazy will have ended.

Has anyone bought either the asda or bargain crazy one?

Which is best :?
