I can imagine foghorn if it's in the distance....

But how do you listen to a sunrise?

i have one of these from christmas that i need to return, however ive been away on business.

the reason for return, is that the 'soother' sounds are purely for limited periods of time, which you set on the buttons as background music, basically. they cannot be used as the alarm (the reason i was bought it was to use the foghorn as an alarm, but this isn't possible, the alarm is just a beeping noise, which wouldn't have a hope in hell in waking me up).

so yeah, bit of a waste really, especially for the 30quid my little sister paid for it. going to return it and get a different one - if they try and give me £7.50 i'll be drop kicking someone in the chin ;)

Snap.
Exactly the same reason I am returning mine, though I only paid £7.50,
I also found it difficult to set the timem thought the instructions were rubbish.
Will be getting a Roberts clock radio that adjust to the time automatically. Bought my son one and it is great
