This duvet promotes a good night's sleep as it gives warmth without weight. It's non-allergenic,machine washable at 60°C. The polyester microfibre has proven moisture absorption properties. Modal is a man-made fibre which is derived from wood pulp. It's a cellulosic fibre like cotton which absorbs and disperses body moisture so that the child is comfortable and cosy. The cover of the duvet is a lovely seersucker polyester.

My youngest daughter is 4 weeks old today and buying her a duvet hadnt even crossed my mind. Sure, if it was 10p but this isn't cheap or a bargain!

My son didnt use a duvet til he was 2.5 years old and as above sure if it was a bargain, but a duvet for £18 is hardly a bargain!

I had a £20 john Lewis voucher so with delivery cost me £1. which is 90p more than 1on4 is willing to pay.if it sits in his room for 11 months then not a problem.so for me it was a bargain and was cheap :) gotta go plan his 21st birthday now

I did not imply the op said he was going to use a duvet with a 4 wk old. It just happened that he used the words duvet and 4wk old baby in the one sentence and I simply made a comment that babies should not use duvets - there will be folk who are not aware of this.

I paid about this for this duvet two years. It has washed and dried lovely. A really nice and soft first duvet. Will soon be used for baby number two and hoping it'll be going strong for baby number three too so for me great value! Have some heat!

dunno about the rest of you but Im totally with the negative commenters on here. As for me, only Baavet duvets in my house.

4 tog would be to cold for this time of year anyway but not a bad thing to stash away till baby is older. my lg is 19 months and is only just using a duvet (no pillow) but I got hers for £10 on amazon :)
