More than one store now tries to con us into accepting that £5.61 is the RRP.
We then think we are doing wonderfully well when there's a price drop or BOGOF.
Pull the other one.:whistling:
The growing trend to have to buy items like this in packs of three or four is a real pain,
but guess who make more money out of us if we fall for it.
Of course, a "single" tin will probably cost the earth so the
Supermarkets have us by the *****

:x:x I quite agree only a few weeks ago the regular price was 2.69 so it's no deal at all - Anyone can see that they've doubled the price & then tried to con us into believing it's a special offer - Voted cold I'm afraid:x:x

not disagreeing that supermarkets ar ripping everyone off - but its a good deal for tuna at the moment compared with the other supermarkets - if you look bvack over the posts of the last month for tuna they all quote around this as being the rrp or a deal with a similar price for one tin being a good deal - was only posting what i thought was a good deal at the moment:oops:

I saw these today in Tesco and they also had Princes Tuna down to £3 for 4 instead of the usual £5. So I just bought 4 tins of Princes. Then I called into our local Costcutter and they were doing the exact same 4 tins of Princes tuna for £2.09. Tesco are a RIP OFF.
