Good price but nurseries and schools no longer follow the jolly phonics as part of the curriculum, so if you learn your child this way at home they'll be taught differently at school and this just confuses them!

Jolly Phonics is still a widely used phonics programme in many schools

my little girl is in reception and they have told us to use this series - where are you and what do they use instead?

My school no longer use it although they used to and I thought it was a great way to learn.

I'm in the west midlands area, I work in a pre school and we used to use this format but we were advised to stop using it by early years advisors in early 2009. We now use 'linking letters and sounds' as part of the Foundation stage curriculum.
