I have actually just bought this one as it looks pretty good for the low price, also has its own good quality specialized bluetooth keyboard.

i hate these deals because it's priced low enough to be tempting but I know i would never use a tablet - i live on my own in a flat and my desktop is about 2 paces from my settee in my living room. i use my iphone if i want to look something up quickly and if not, just boot the PC up .. but i like this deal .. argh ..
#8
looks like good deal but can some one confirm the screen is ips and responsive

in the review video it says the screen is tft......
#9
the review video is wrong .. it is IPS ..

You are correct, its £7.07 for delivery + 20% VAT = £8.48, its a bit steep really especially when the other version of this one comes in at £3.99 + VAT No Dual Core

Misco delivery charge is any up to 1kg cost £3.99, but both the 9.7" Joytab versions are the same weight, but on checkout the Dual Core model selects the next price up for delivery. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

I think all these open box items only have 30 day warranty. Is it reliable to use after that? Too many china versions fail after 1-2 months.
#12
The brand name is a more reliable manufacture than the no name unbranded cheap china tablets.

Misco get all there Open Box tablets from the shopping channel Ideal World, simple customer returns. Far better than Argos Refurbished products.

Expect cancellations. Misco's inventory doesn't update automatically and usually there's only one of the open box product available. :(

I hope you are wrong but the description title does appear to imply its only about one looking at it. Worth a punt

That's pretty poor. You should have given some credit to chapchap for this.

In this day and age any online retailer that can't update the online stock level should hang their head in shame. I personally avoid such companies.
Misco should know better.

Hmm looking at it I'm not sure this is an ips screen (personally I don't mind but others might). On misco page the manufactures code is GEM10313BK which on the Gemini website suggests a different model.

I agree ordered a tablet (Open Box)3 times and only managed to get one on the last try.
Doesn't seem to mention IPS screen in their specification.

Yup, that review has a 1.2Ghz Processor, this one is listed as 1.6Ghz, which considering he's complaining about the speed, is significant. Having said that, his still sounds faulty though. There's no normal reason why it should have lagged when just typing.

Wow 16gb, I paid well over £100 for a netbook and it only has 1gb! Bargain! Don't know how I explain to the OH that I've bought a Joytab though. Sounds naughty.

Damn... I ordered but now I don't expect to get one because it's open box, this is an amazing bargain... Please say they have more than one!

Bought this under two months ago , cost me £140 inc postage. Tablet suffered from intermittent white screen prob but when it was working it was great for surfing web and using aps. Sent back within the 30 day and just received my refund. Heard that some experience problems with charger point but i only ever had a problem with the white screen everything else was great. Definitely worth a go at £80 ;-)

I think your confusing RAM and storage... This only has 1GB RAM like your netbook and I suspect your storage is much larger!

I think some more people at Ideal World who bought it at the rip off price it is should return it!

I wish I hadn't posted the deal now :p I have most probably done myself out of receiving mine. X)

How does this compare to the original iPad? I have 1 and I think I need an upgrade.
#37
CPU should be a Rockchip RK3066 , given the dual core / mali 400, which is a very decent choice, also 1gb of RAM is fine, not cut down to 512. Battery life should be quite decent given the larger size, http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/laptops/1295854/gemini-devices-joytab-9-7-tablet-pc/ says 9 hours plus video playback with wifi off.

Win! Ordered one :) If you go for the one that's £5 cheaper (same product codes, also includes keyboard, can't see why it's less), there's a £3.99 delivery option, making my total spend £70.78 delivered, and p.s you can use paypal.

Aw nuts just noticed it's single core for £5 less. Re-ordering and cancelling....

Also noticed it's android 4.0 rather than 4.1 on the cheaper one. Still, worth considering, it's £10 less when cheaper postage factored in too!

LOL.

Stocks seems to be holding out well...

Lots of Monday cancellation emails will be flying out me think.

Still Misco will get your money for a while and a few more peeps on it's mailing list.

if you can get android 4.1 and a decent dual core for £10 more i strongly suggest you go for it, after owning many android tablets and phones i strongly endorse it

i really want this but really dont need it, the price and specs are to hard to ignore
