I remember when I was going to buy one of these when they were £60. Thank god I didn't.

I bought one a few weeks ago from play when they were at £25.00 including delivery. I have to say it was aweful, my 360 looked dark and the picture wobbled and my Wii just didn't want to know where it would display the picture for only a second or 2 then go blank.

I sent it back ok but lost out @£8.00 on postage.

If anyone knows a good solution for connecting my xbox360 (old component only version) and wii to my hdtv, could you please let me know, because for some reason my wii doesn't work properly through a normal scart connection on my hdtv and I'm forced to use component to get a decent picture... I have my eye on the component->hdmi converters atm, but i don't know how good they are.

Strange mate as i have my 360 Wii and DVD player linked up to it and it runs fine.

Go for the HDMI Fury at Divineo UK, I think that should help you out, may cost a few bucks though, or get yourself a decent amp that can dela with component, HDMI (check which version of HDMI as well), hope this helps

I found it ran dark too and all sorts of other issues. I upgraded to a Onkyo amp which does all much switching perfectly, but then it was 20x the price of this.

Was tempted by this until I seen the above reviews, even though the OP says it performs well, then again he's probably gotten used to things not performing well, he is a stags fan after all!

Just kidding op i'll give you a clue where I am from: http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s308/harlzter/images.jpg

Dont bother with convertors.

Try to pick up a joytech 245c control center instead. I had one of those with my Wii and it worked much better than the reports about this one.

Also don't use the XBox lead with the 540c get the component cable and plug that into the control center.

Hmm I've had one of these since they came out, mine has a 360 (using my own 360 lead not the supplied 360 connector although that was fine), Wii (with the fix that is free from Joytech, PC (my video card has component out) and my Sky-HD.
It is perfect, I've never had any problems with it (apart from the know Wii issue that they resolved with the little green adapter).
I might buy another now for the upstairs telly, cheers great price. HOT

Got one a couple of weeks ago - prior to getting a HD set - run through normal SD TV and 360 was fine but serious interference issue on my Wii and loads of lines across screen / jumping etc, use it more as a Ethernet hub but currently its sat in a drawer doing nothing as couldnt be bothered to leave it on all the time just for Xbox / Web connectivity - just rewired everything back the way it used to be - waste of money in my mind - wish I had listened to the reviews that had concerns with it - seems its a 50/50 shot as to getting one that works fine.

Has your TV not got PC in? (VGA)

If it has, just get the VGA lead for the 360, what I do on mine and it works a treat :)

Can you use the different aspects of this product? Basically I have a 4 port HDMI switch which is great but I have one of those horrible 3 way optical switch things that is pretty shoddy. I would want to take advantage of the optical switch and probably the ethernet for the PS3 (HD Movies don't travel well over wireless) and XBox360. I want to cut out the video aspect of it altogether.

It's either this or go for an Onkyo 606 :)

Got this when it was £25, great product. Only thing is it gets interferance when using the Wii, otherwise perfect, as I don't have a Wii I don't much care!

yeh, it has no vga connector either :(

it's quite a problem I've tried 2 component switch boxes now and both were aweful. it's a pain that my new tv (toshiba) doesn't support the wii with the normal lead considering it's the worlds most popular console atm.
